“We needed to wash five comforters. The young lady working that day was very helpful in explaining how to use the machines. The laundromat was extremely clean. The young lady was wiping down all of the machines and cleaning out all of the lint traps as soon as as customer was finished with the machines.

“I was happy with the dry cleaning and the careful way they hang the clothes however I had a suit jacket with wrinkles remaining on the front. The ladies are very nice and they have lots of work so I said nothing. My guess is that this probably doesn't happen often. I had many items dry cleaned and had issues with only one garment. “The washers and dryers work really well here, and it's pretty clean overall. I saw staff walking around pretty consistently, either cleaning the floors, maintaining machines not in use, or otherwise keeping things running smoothly.On the downside, the touchscreens on the card machines seem kinda janky. It took me several attempts to buy a new card with the amount I wanted on it. Also not a fan of the really drab, gloomy grey interior. They also have a LOT of TVs with the volume turned WAY up. Couple this with the echo from the high ceiling and it can get incredibly noisy in here. Also they have a vending machine for snacks, but no drinks, strangely. Guess you can get something at the Jewel nearby if necessary.4 stars overall, decent place to go when I have more laundry than the tiny stacked unit in my apartment can handle.”

“This service from Hawthorne is so over the top I had to post a review. They offer free pickup and delivery which is awesome. We have to get clothes turned around quickly because of a job where my husband travels. Always accommodate the quick turnarounds with a smile. “This laundromat is in a strip mall that has a Dunkin' Donuts, Dairy Queen, Doctor Dogs (delicious hot dogs!), and a wonderful Chinese Food restaurant, tailor, etc.
The parking is always easy here, and in the winter the lost is kept clear of snow and ice.
So, I go into the laundry, which always has nice and clean washers and dryers (that are very well maintained) and get it started in one of the 3 sizes of washers available (and each has various settings, though there is an additional charge for medium and heavy wash options, but I've found they're indeed worth the extra cost).
It's nice that all the machines take credit and debit cards as well as quarters (there are change machines available, but no ATM).
After the laundry is going, I'll grab a coffee, or a soft-serve cone, or hot dog, or even some pot stickers as a snack! The laundromat has a bathroom (a onesie) that I've found to be kept clean, and always in good working order.
The dryers get your clothes dry pretty quickly - it usually costs me $0.75 to dry 2-3 loads in one dryer. I start the machine on high heat, and then after around 15 minutes I drop it to medium heat which I've found works perfectly for me.
In all, this is a nice laundromat! Basic in that there are no vending machines for soap or fabric softener, or pop, or candy/chips, and no ATM (admittedly a Cash Station would be convenient), but the machines will get your dirty laundry clean quickly and inexpensively! So I definitely recommend this place.”
