I was offered a discount by a sales associate for taking the last pair of shoes on display. At checkout, the cashier Alina rudely said there were no discounts and dismissed my explanation. Maybe the associate was inexperienced that’s fine. But blaming the customer and speaking in such a disrespectful tone is unacceptable. It wasn’t a big deal, but it left a bad impression. I won’t return to this store.

Corey made our shopping experience for prom dress shoes such a great experience, and I am so thankful for his assistance when we went shopping at Aldo yesterday. My sister and I really appreciated how well Corey helped our brother find the perfect heels for his prom dress, and how comfortable he made us in this store. We drove almost 2 hours to this mall, and almost left it without finding anything. We circled back to Aldo, and we were glad we did. Corey's customer service is the best we have experienced, and really highlighted our trip to Illinois. Corey made a wonderful impact to our brother's prom shopping experience, so I really wanted to thank him for that. His coworker was really wonderful too, and I wanted Aldo to know they have a wonderful, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and supportive staff, and we definitely recommend this store and location thanks to them.

I recently had the pleasure of shopping for a new pair of shoes at Aldo at rosemont outlets. While the selection was great, what truly made my experience outstanding was the help I received from Manny.
From the moment I walked in, Manny was attentive without being pushy. He greeted me warmly and genuinely seemed interested in understanding what I was looking for. I had my eye on a few different styles of shoes, and Manny's knowledge of the brand was truly impressive. He was able to answer all my questions about the different materials, construction, and sizing nuances of various Aldo models.
What I appreciated most was Manny's ability to listen to my needs and then offer relevant suggestions. He didn't just point me towards the most expensive options; instead, he helped me narrow down the choices based on my preferences and intended use. He clearly understood the Aldo product line inside and out, highlighting the specific features and benefits of each shoe I considered.

An employee at a Aldo in Puerto Rico ordered shoes for my grandma to this location in Chicago for me to pick up. When I went to pick the shoes up the hispanic gentleman was so helpful. I didn’t catch his name but he talked to my grandma on the phone and answered all our questions about ordering another color shoe/Pick up. (his name might be manny based on all the positive reviews idk) my grandma told me to check the shoes before leaving the store which thankfully I did because one pair was un wrapped & looked worn and used. I’m assuming It was dirty from multiple try ons (Which is weird because they were ordered online to be shipped to the store). The bottom was all scratched up and dirty. On top of one of the shoes it was scratched and they’re metallic so it showed. The inside of the shoe was dirty similar to when you put on shoes with dirty sweaty feet and dirt forms inside. It even had an outline of a foot on the sole from being worn. I talked to an Eastern European woman at the register & I explained that the shoes looked used so I asked for a different pair or a refund. She was so rude and rolled her eyes at me and said she can clean them for me or return to the original payment method. I told her I was not interested in them being cleaned because they were scratched up and new shoes were purchased not used ones. I didn’t have the original payment method so she told me to have my grandma return them in 2 months when she’s back in town. I asked how do I know they won’t refuse the refund thinking my grandma was trying to return used shoes and she literally rolled her eyes at me a second time!! She wasn’t even a bit apologetic for selling $100 heels in disgusting condition she legit wanted to fight with me on the return when I would ask for other alternatives. I told her if I can just leave the shoes here on hold because they told my grandma they would hold shoes for 6 months and she scoffed at me and said “I don’t know who in the world said that to you” This woman has TERRIBLE customer service. She apologized in the end when I took the store credit but to roll your eyes and give an attitude was uncalled for. I have never treated a paying customer the way she did. I was going to purchase some accessories I saw while I was waiting for the man to bring out the shoes and after her attitude I just left instead.
