Post Offices near Rosiclare, IL

“This post office is in a desperate need of a renovation, but I'm not going to fault them for that, as it's really beyond their control for how retro and dingy the place looks- almost reminds me of going back to the 70s to early 80s at latest. The parking sucks as there is only one main thru-way, and all the parked cars have to back up into it to get out. It makes for a congested lot. There are a lot of mailboxes of varying sizes to rent, and are accessible all day through a weird and desolate little corridor. The other wing of the post office has a long table where you can wait alongside and prepare your package while you wait to be served. There is usually a long line here, but it moves relatively quickly, with often 2 or 3 workers available to help move things along. If you're waiting to be served but don't need to prepare anything, you can browse thier greeting card and gift card selection, & look at the latest and greatest in shipping products. The whole outdated early 80's feel of the post office extends to the appearance of the workers. We need to give these folks an update on their uniform already! They look so out of date, with dull blues, pleated khakis, thick polos & cardigans. The workers at the Bristol location are very nice. They're quite experienced at what they do, and they never forget to ask if I need more stamps, which is honestly a most wholesome touch. I appreciate they offer a wide variety of services, yet don't push their services too hard on me. Overall, I'm very grateful we have this post office in the center of town like we do. While it could use a slight cosmetic facelift, overall, this post office is so essential! I love having a post office to go to.”
