Management of Pharmacy here needs to work on their processes to become efficient. Made an appointment for a flu shot. Spent an hour waiting as they had to re-register me and had issues with their own system. Employees seem to be doing their best. Check-in for services such as shots should be automated with a self check-in pad.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Especially to their, under trained, disrespectful pharmacy staff...and I haven't even mentioned the pharmacist yet. This on lady pharmacist too it upon herself to not fill one of my pain medications because she didn't feel comfortable. It's not your job to feel comfortable, it's your job to fill prescriptions and to tell us of any interactions! That's it! All our doctors can see our prescriptions, they all know what we are talking and why. So just do your jobs and the staff... start for #1 at least acting like you want to be there and stop moving like you're carrying lead in your pockets! I've reported this pharmacy to head office and certain people, 4 times, nothing was done and nothing got better. So I finally went out of my way to a different Walgreens and they should feel lucky I stayed with their company at all! Oh then there's this one guy who's Spanish, I think, that walks around looking over everyone's shoulders like he's doing something, if fact he does nothing but walk back and forth. He doesn't even answer the phone except to put them on hold...again. Yeah don't bother trying to call there cause they won't answer! They'll keep pushing you on hold until you get disconnected. Whether inside or outside the pharmacy there sucks it's slower than molasses going. Uphill in the dead of winter! As for the rest of the store, they're very pleasant and they're very helpful and they try and make things right in the rest of the store though it's not very neat and not very tidy I think it has to do with the size of the store myself because if you go to any other Walgreens, it's a totally different layout, and it seems to be newer likelike this store is a makeover and a whole new pharmacy staff that's been trained in customer service for one major all of them especially the pharmacist

This Walgreens is HORRIBLE!!!!! My husband dropped off a Rx on 11/10/23 around 9:30pm. The script was for a 3 day supply of pain meds (Tramadal) for myself after surgery I had that day. Was told by the girl in the drive thru that it would take approx an hour and a half to fill. We agreed that I wasn't in any pain and that we would come back the next day to pick up. Received a call the next day saying that they couldn't fill the Rx because of a number missing from the physical Rx written by the doctor. A few days later, the excuse was an issue with my insurance. Finally called today, 11/20/23 to find out if the issue had ever been resolved and was told that the pharmacy won't be filling the Rx. NO EXPLANATION!!!!! The gentleman on the phone spoke to me like I was an addict trying to get pain meds. At this point the Rx isn't needed, but I wanted to at least attempt to do whatever was needed on my end to resolve the issue. Will NEVER use this pharmacy!!!!!

Waited in line for over an hour. I was told that my son's meds can not be given to us because we need to consult the pharmacist. So I came back after 40 minutes and waited another hour. The pharmacist was the one helping me at the window and never gave me a consult on the medication, just gave it to me and that's all. I could have had it two hours earlier instead of wasting time. Before that I called twice got put on hold and got hung up on twice. Then people wonder why so many walgreens are closing down. Customer service at the pharmacy is garbage there.

Absolutely ridiculous pharmacy and their made up policies. They can’t even tell a customer if they’re able to fill their prescription or not. Most doctors will not waste time on sending prescriptions to pharmacies that may or may not have their patient’s prescription in stock. I’m switching pharmacies and I hope anyone reading this will too. Save your headaches for more important things! What a circus, SMH!

Rude staff at pharmacy, always mess up my prescriptions and do not provide accurate information! So frustrating that they don’t have the prescriptions ready on the time they promised! Plus lines are always long the wait is insane!

I didn't think a place could be more frustrating than trying to fill a prescribed medicine. Constantly lie saying waiting for the fax from Dr's Office is it just me, I feel very direspected by person in pharmacy because he purposely makes me wait in drive thru until I get so frustrated I freaking leave, without my meds. Not a nice place pissed off people. Then post signs on drive thru window preventing you from seeing what's taking so long. Sign said come inside for faster service it is very ridiculous.

Extremely Frustrating ExperienceI recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Walgreens pharmacy. My baby's prescription took a whopping two days to be ready, and attempting to contact them via phone was a nightmare. Every time I called, I was either put on hold indefinitely or abruptly hung up on. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when it involves the well-being of a child. Extremely disappointed.

I went to this Walgreens on a Tuesday around 8:30pm Pharmacy tech was smiley and very helpful. Pharmacist used a voucher to allow for my Covid shot to be covered completely ($150) administered my shot with ease. The lady at checkout was also very nice greeted with a smile. These other reviews I read prior to coming had me nervous but I did not experience any of the negative things mentioned by other people.

The DMV renewing your drivers license is more pleasant and speedy experience. Pharmacy is awfully slow. Two hour+ wait with an online appointment for a flu shot?

This morning (August 29 2023), I received the worst kind of service from the pharmacist. I came in to return a prescription bottle that was opened. To anyone's instinct, if it's opened or unsealed you bring it back for a new one. He said it was a liquid powder and that we have to open it. I said Oh I didn't know that because I did not see that happen in front of me. Then he went on to say well maybe you weren't paying attention. I could not believe what I just heard. I said excuse me? I did not know. I am not a pharmacist to even know that. I did not see this being open in front of me. Otherwise, I would not waste my time coming back in to exchange. Then he proceeds to give me a smirk and a very small rolling of the eyes. So this was the type of service I received this morning from a pharmacist. Very dissatisfied and made me feel belittled is just an understatement. He was just plain rude and if you ask me, he is in the wrong industry. Something has to change.

Terrible pharmacy service. Lake Villa received prescription and then transferred prescription to Round Lake Beach Wed around noon. Stated would be ready by 3 pm. Checked the staus, will be ready at 8am, checked the status, still working on it. Called the pharmacy, on hold for 20 mins around 9 am tech stated oh, ins won't cover it that's why it has not been filled. Ok, then call me to approve the cost, to which I said yes I will pay for it. OK, it will be ready by noon. Check the staus, still working on it. Called the pharmacy at 3 pm. Oh, that's out of stock it will be ordered tomorrow. Then it will be filled after we receive it. Umm, ok?No call? A little consideration would have been nice with a phone call or text. For a cancer patient to have to wait and wait, then receive nothing, that is unacceptable!STILL NO PRESCRIPTION...tomorrow will be 1 week

If I could give it a NEGATIVE amount of stars, I would. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, and if I ever treated my patients the way these pharmacy employees treat patients, I would only be employed for a short time. It is almost impossible to connect to a human being who works in the pharmacy. This is not Round Lake Walgreens' fault, however. Automatically connecting all incoming calls to some call center (in some random country, I'm sure) is a CORPORATE and abysmal decision. I am not oblivious to the fact that the volume of prescriptions that these poor people have to deal with, 24 hours a day, is something that I could never deal with. Why is it the individual patients' fault (problem) that the orders never stop? I have several chronic illnesses that require several medications. I am a great historian concerning my medications, when my refills are due, which ones need a prior auth, and how much each should be. I have been CONSISTENTLY "talked down to" at this pharmacy. They ALWAYS think they can talk OVER me; however, I am pretty assertive and do not allow such behavior. If a person feels overwhelmed by or possesses a negative attitude towards the environment in which they are employed, they should seek DIFFERENT employment!! The cherry on this Round Lake Beach Walgreens Cake is their (insert expletive of your choice here) attitude towards and judgment of those of us who take Adderall. I suffer from narcolepsy and must take this medication whether I like it or not. I take it as prescribed, don't sell it for cash, and the physician who prescribes it for me should be the one to decide how this medication is handled. I am not sure exactly when it happened, but somehow the "friendly neighborhood pharmacist" I used to see as a child had morphed into being narcissistic and judgemental with a God-Complex!! As the old saying goes, "Just because you wear a white coat, that doesn't make you a doctor". Pharmacists have complete discretion concerning when your "Schedule 2" medication can/will be filled. It doesn't matter if your PHYSICIAN calls them and gives them a VERBAL INSTRUCTION of when to fill the prescription...they do as they see fit and then hide behind the following statement; "It is MY license on the line if you are getting this refilled too soon". Therefore, should this narcissistic bully decide they don't like your "tone of voice", the words you are choosing, or "the looks of you", guess who isn't getting their medication when their PHYSICIAN WANTS THEM TO HAVE IT! We have the DEA to thank for this. That does not excuse any form of discrimination or mistreatment of a fellow human being. We are NOT all "drug addicts" or sub-human. Just treat others how YOU would want to be treated or how you would want your mother treated! #boycottWalgreens #rundonotwalktoanyotherpharmacy #24hourconviencedoesnotexcusebadbehavior #doctorsorderstrumpyourpharmaceuticallicense

The pharmacy line is always long, they can not solve a problem in adequate time. I went there for urgent care they would not accept me without an appointment and the lady gave me directions to another Walgreen's that do not exist
