“I had a little parking lot mishap that put several paint scraps on my left rear about six plus inches.
Got two estimates which were very high. Thought I would try to fix it myself when a neighbor told me about S&S so I went there and meet Mike. It's a small shop and Mike impressed me as an honest man.
He gave me a price which was more than reasonable. He said it would take a few days and set a date for me to bring it in.
Mike keep me up dated on the progress of the work being done on my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle it had been washed and Mike walked out to my vehicle with me to make sure his work met with my approval. It did. Perfect.
Mike is a good and honest person to work with. I highly recommend S&S Body Shop and would take any work that I may need in the future to his shop.”
“Charged 40% less--many hundreds of dollars--than I was quoted elsewhere for a recent repair (quality of the repair was great). This seems like a large, yet locally run, business, so they seem to do things more efficiently than smaller rinky dink shops. Customer service was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the pack of cookies they give customers. I opened that right up and ate some before I even left the parking lot.”
“If you need a great auto repair business, Star Auto Authority is the place to go! I flew into Illinois to purchase a vehicle and wanted to get it checked out before driving home. This place was the only business who recognized that I needed to get in soon and Bill was able to schedule me in. They did a comprehensive check and recommended some repairs. I decided to get my brakes replaced. For a auto repair business that looked this nice, i felt that the repair quote was very reasonable and fair. They even provided a loaner so I could run some errands. The service provided was top notch. I just wished that there was a business like this in my home state.”

Once the insurance claim was finalized I took my car here and Edgar was absolutely amazing to work with! He kept me updated on anything regarding my car. I was thinking I’d be without my car for at least a week but I dropped it off on a Tuesday and had it back that Friday and it looked like the accident never happened! Definitely recommend Caliber Collison and working with Edgar for any repairs needed!”
“Very reliable and honest ! We have been taking our cars to Alan for 20+ years. Recent example ~ A friend took their truck to the dealer for an estimate on brakes, they were told $500-600 & rotors needed to be replaced. I had them take it to Alan and guess what ? Rotors did not need to be replaced ! Brakes done for under $200 !”

“Gustafson did a great job with our car! They gave us a reasonable estimate. Once we were finally able to get the car in (due to issues with the insurance company), the repairs took about 10 days (the car needed work in several different areas). They even called Enterprise to come and pick me up when I dropped the car off and collected the rental when our car was done. They also informed me that our car needed a new battery which I hadn't realized. Thank you for keeping us safe!”

I was lucky enough to notice a weathered "Auto Body " sign on the NORTH side of Burnett Rd. near my house in Island Lake after leaving a similar place on the SOUTH side that was a joke. Never greeted or acknowledged at all. I opened the door at Nostalgic (586 E Burnett Rd.) and was very pleasantly greeted by a guy working on a car. I'm unhappy that I didn't learn his name. Eric Pasternak heard our conversation and immediately popped out of his office. Very professionally assessed my issue . Made me feel very comfortable and welcome. We came to a deal. Got a free ride home and back to pick up my vehicle. The paint job was excellent. All because of the guy that I didn't catch his name was so friendly to break the ice. So that guy needs a raise Eric.”

They communicated directly with my insurance company, provided a free loaner car so I was never inconvenienced, and advocated for my repair to be restored to true factory standards. If it hadn’t been for Louie and his team, I would have unknowingly accepted about one-quarter of the compensation I was actually entitled to—and the value of my car would have taken a major hit.
