I want to express my mixed feelings about my recent experience at the animal hospital. Firstly, I must commend Dr. Kofoed for her exceptional professionalism and the lifesaving care she provided to our cat. Her expertise and kindness were truly remarkable.However, despite most of the staff being pleasant, my overall experience was soured by a significant lapse in communication and customer service. Four days after my cat's surgery, he developed diarrhea, prompting us to reach out to the hospital via email for guidance and to obtain our cat's records.Initially, we were met with a response from the front desk indicating they required authorization from the doctor to release the records, promising to relay our concerns to Dr. Kofoed. Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts to follow up, we received no further communication from the hospital.Days passed with no resolution, forcing us to leave messages before finally receiving a delayed response. Even then, the promised action to address our concerns never materialized. It was only after persistent efforts on our part that we were offered an appointment, which was accompanied by dismissive and unsympathetic behavior from the staff member we spoke with.Their lack of empathy and professionalism, particularly when we expressed our frustration and disappointment, was disheartening. To be blunt, the suggestion that we seek care elsewhere due to our dissatisfaction was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude.As a loyal customer who has invested a considerable amount—over $7000—in the care of our pet, I find this level of service unacceptable. Regardless of the exceptional care provided by Dr. Kofoed, the overall experience has been marred by inadequate communication and poor customer service. I hope that this feedback will prompt improvements in the hospital's procedures to ensure a more positive experience for future clients.

I was happy to meet with Companion Vet team this week...It was a pleasure and I highly recommend.!! My cat Taz was taken care with determination and professionalism. He hissed, pissed, scratched, left bunch of fur all over, but ladies took it with a smile, tenderness, and care. Thank you, Companion Team! We are definitely coming back!!! Taz says HI <3

The staff at companion animal hospital went above and beyond to care for my dog Frank. After an unfortunate event that ended up in a bowel obstruction, Dr Kofoed and her team tried other options before deciding that surgery was the only option. The team kept me updated the entire time Frank was in the hospital and even during the actual surgery. I cannot praise them enough for how kind and caring they were during the entire process ! Their communication is AMAZING!!! I will never go to another animal hospital after this experience

First time for my exotic pet(hamster) and myself. Loved the atmosphere as you walking in the place. Everyone is so generous and kind. Vet is very explanatory with everything. Loved it ?

Of course there are so many animal hospitals that I could have picked, but I chose Companion Animal Hospital. Not only do they accept new clients but they are SO FRIENDLY!!!! I was greeted right at the door and taken into a room. The girl (I forgot her name, but she had a pink hoodie on) she explained the details to my appointment and what my puppy needs as well as what the clinic recommends for a healthier pup. Which I chose to give him all the shots that he needed. I was told that they would follow up on my puppy to see how he was doing - which I did get a message on Monday as I came on Friday afternoon/evening hours. I recommend this place!!! If you want great customer service and be treated with love - this is your spot to go too!!!!

Took my dog here for a long time and loved the atmosphere and environment. My dog had seizures about once a month and the vet insisted they were well managed. After taking him to a different vet, that vet was baffled my dog wasn’t on phenobarbital as it’s a first line med for epilepsy. Pheno was added and the seizures stopped completely.I’m actually disgusted my dog had seizures for almost 2 years and I didn’t know any better because I trusted the judgment of the vet (which you should be able to do!) Absolutely would not recommend, at least for epilepsy.

First time kitty owner. Companion answered all my question. And there were lots of them. I highly recommend them. The staff was prompt and treated my kitty like their own.

I had never been here before and normally see another vet. I needed chest xrays on a dog who had just been seen by another vet but machine was down. They listened and saw us immediately not charging for emergency visit charges. They were knowledgeable and everyone was so compassionate. Unfortunately my dog is facing the end of her life and I took her home to make her comfortable. They were so supportive of my decision and helped me accept it. They have personally checked in on me and my baby to make sure we are ok and checking if we need anything. I am 66 and have had numerous dogs in my lifetime. I have been the happiest with them than all the others. Hopefully if you need a vet it’s for happier reasons but I feel no matter what you’ll be happy with them. Expecially dr Savannah

I couldn't write this review if I didn't give it one star. It should be ZERO stars. HORRIBLE experience today. DON'T GO to COMPANION Animal Hospital. Unprofessional!! Don't trust this place. It's SO expensive too.First of all they don't greet you, the desk people, EVER, when you walk through the door. I have a cute little puppy, such a happy little girl, and they don't gush, not even a little.But today was something else! I paid for my service today after my appointment (1 booster shot and a fecal recheck and the bill was $173) was about to leave when there was a commotion about my puppy, I heard them say her name. I asked what was wrong and they kept asking me to hang on and the receptionist would go in the back and she did that a couple times. My stomach was upset because I thought something was wrong with my puppy. She then told me I was getting a credit for the fecal recheck of 63 dollars. I was really glad to be getting a credit after paying an arm and a leg over the last 2 months for puppy shots and medication. They told me because my puppy was bought from petland that they had an agreement with them and there was a health guarantee and I would be getting a credit back to my account for the $63 dollars for the fecal recheck. I didn't understand why they just assumed my puppy was bought from petland pet store, but was really excited to get $63 dollars credit today But then I say, "I didn't know the person I got my puppy from was affiliated with petland?" And then right away they changed their tune and said I could no longer get the credit for the fecal check. I was upset because I never told them my puppy was from petland. One of the women, probably office manager, said well you just did, and then I said, but you were just going to give me a credit without even asking me. And then she said, sorry, now that we know your puppy wasn't purchased from petland, it would be dishonest. I said but if I didn't say anything you would have given me the credit. She said, then YOU would have been dishonest. So ridiculous. I didn't even ask for anything in the first place! I would have left and been none the wiser!! They literally assumed themselves my puppy was from petland! They should have honored that for me for making the assumption without even asking me. I really want to know why that assumed that though. Such BAD customer care.I decided to call back an hour later on the phone to ask about it because I was still very upset about the way I was treated. The desk put me on with the Veterinarian. I was on the phone with a Veterinarian who was extremely short with me on the phone, and couldn't CARE LESS about the situation and SHE was literally accusing me of telling the vet tech while I was in the room today that my puppy was from petland , and when I told her I said NO such thing she said that I was being recorded in the room and she was going to check the recordings as IF I was lying to her. Then, she wouldn't listen to me any longer. SHE was raising her voice which was making me raise my voice to be heard then she accused me of yelling at her. I kept asking her why they assumed my puppy was from petland?? Because I really wanted to know. She hung up the phone on me. Is this the way "Professionals" do business now? They just hang up on customers? Unbelievable!!My puppy is 4 months old and I have already spent close to $1000 with all the shots they recommended and said she needed and for the medication for parasites in my puppies poop. It seems absurd to charge $63 dollars for a fecal recheck anyway. Also, why didn't they tell me the last visit when I paid $95 for medication that my puppies health should be guaranteed from petland? They didn't mention that to me at all, EVER! Why did they assume today that she was from petland? Gossip perhaps? Why is that my fault?Don't spend your hard earned money here. Do your research, I didn't. I found the closest animal hospital that took appointments in the area. Mistake!

My dog got fleas from this place and then when we called to tell them about it they said they would be giving us pills for it and for my cats that I also have and when I got there they decided to charge me a $120 for it. I told them our business was over and she just said OK but you didn't get fleas from us as we use a cleaner(must have not had a single animal in that day). My wife grooms my dog regularly very meticulously she's kind of OCD about it And noticed this the moment we got home and called them and they initially apologized and told my wife they would be making this right. So my dog has fleas my cat has fleas my house has fleas and they were all given to us courtesy of this company and they are refusing to do anything about it. Short haired Doberman so its not hard to see them.

Excellent customer service!! I left a voicemail last night and they were able to get my dog in for an appointment today. Place is always clean and the staff is kind and friendly. You can tell they really love all their patients. Thank you for always taking such well care of my pets. ❤️
