Exceptional Service at Dollar General
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to commend the outstanding service provided by the employees at your Dollar General location. The difference in customer service between this store and other local Dollar General stores is like night and day.
During a recent shopping trip with my child, I purchased a $10 pool and encountered a cashier who, unfortunately, I did not get the name of. She went above and beyond by using her phone number to apply coupons, saving me money. Her friendly, quick, and efficient service was much appreciated.
The male employees at this store are equally impressive. They are laid-back, friendly, and always willing to help. On one occasion, one of the male employees assisted a teenage boy who was short on money for a Gatorade. He then explained to me how he always tries to look out for the kids shopping there, which was truly heartwarming.
My only complaint is that the store could use more space. Despite this, my experiences at this location have been consistently positive, thanks to the exceptional staff.

Just went by there around 6:45 pm on 1/3/24 and it was closed. Saw some lady at the register so I knocked and was completely ignored. Closing time on the door states 9pm! SMDH. Ridiculous.

I just changed my review to a one star because I'm sick of this store being closed. It's 10:45am on Sunday morning and the door is locked..lights are on but don't see anyone inside.This is unacceptable.

Terrible. It's Sunday at 10:45am and the lights are all on but the door is locked. How can you just close down whenever? Also, the store is usually a mess, aisles blocked by huge carts of inventory that need to be put away. Do not recommend this store.

Refused to honor the Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale ad prices. Lied to me and said that they were independently owned and didn’t have to honor sale ads. Reported to corporate for this.

My old barber Ivan moved across the street to this shop, in my opinion it was a great move, since the new shop is bigger and cleaner then Action barber shop. Overall a hidden jem.

Once I found a dead mouse in one of my kitchen cabinets. It smelled the same as that store and I had to leave. It always seems cramped and cluttered. Maybe they just need a bigger store. Employees seem pretty nice though. I only go in there when I can't find what I want at Big lots.
