I live about 5 minutes from this grocery store. My children go to school across the street. But I had never gone inside before. Before really reading the sign, I thought it was a restaurant. Last night, I knew I needed some bananas for my morning smoothie and I really didn't want to go to go very far. As soon as I walked in, the environment felt super small town grocery store which was welcoming. It isn't a huge store by any means but the people seemed to know each other and everyone was at ease. The selection of international (I assume, Mexican, but I am not totally sure) products was huge and that is super exciting. I can't wait to try new things and introduce my children to new things. My only complaint was that all of the bananas were not yet ripe. I dug a little for a bunch that was very close to ready so hopefully, I would be able to use at least one this morning for my blend. The cashier was very kind and spoke English to me so I wasn't left feeling awkward. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the takeout that I could smell coming from the kitchen. Overall, a great neighborhood find!

Friendly people, this place is like a little Mexico. Fresh meat and the owner came to say hi to me and thank me for being there.

Highly recommend this place for AWESOME authentic take home Mexican food. The place was PACKED yesterday morning when I arrived which is always a good sign. Staff is very nice and helpful but most are non-English speaking. And unfortunately, even though I'm half Mexican, my mother never taught me Spanish. But I know how to point and say pollo or puerco or carne or queso Lol... Finally got to try their tamales which came very highly recommended. And they were DELICIOUS!!! Perfect meat to masa ratio. A little spicy (or rather caliente or picante Lol) but fantastic nonetheless. The refried beans (or frijoles) were above average. And the rice (or arroz) was the BEST! They have a ton of other selections. Tacos, tortas etc. And a long line of people waiting for them. They also have a meat market from hell. I'll ALWAYS be returning to this place everytime I'm back in town.

Probably my favorite grocery store in the neighborhood. The place is bright and festive and just full of all sorts of goodies. From authentic Mexican food to herbs to cheeses and sweets, this place has everything you need for the good life. My favorite part is the little restaurant in the back. The staff is friendly and helpful (Especially Homer!) They cook tacos, burritos, chiles rellenos and all sorts of other Mexican delights fresh in the deli for you and you can sit in back and eat. It's quite a little undiscovered gem in this neighborhood.
