About University of Illinois Golf Orange and Blue Courses
The University of Illinois Golf Course is a well-maintained, friendly, and enjoyable public course. The layout is good and fairly easy, especially on the blue course, making it suitable for players of all skill levels. The course is in great shape, with greens that hold well and well-maintained sand traps that impress even experienced players. The staff is known for being very friendly, personable, and eager to help, especially for those participating in camps designed to improve golf skills. Although the facilities are dated and the rough can be tall, this adds to the charm of the course. The range is considered okay, and the season pass offers great value. While some areas like the cart paths and the overall condition could be improved, the course remains a favorite for many, and players appreciate its good condition, good layout, and the welcoming atmosphere.
I had a blast playing. First time playing there and was able to watch a Illi basketball player tee off in front of us. Definitely coming back. Staff was very friendly we had a total of 10 people playing they got let us break up into 3 teams. Everyone was very friendly! Can't wait to come back!!!

Great time and reasonable price. Alex was exceptional at getting us on even though they were very busy. Course was in great shape ... only frustration was too many golfers were nonchalant about fixing ball marks and speed of play. But, will definitely return when in the area!

well kept, well managed course - with the best hot dogs you will find in central illinois. (no joke)
