Attended kids bday party. There was a great selection of choices. The kids enjoyed picking outfits and accessories for their bears. Workers were very attentive and helpful. The store is a little tight when having a group of kids plus regular patrons. They have a great photo op wall for pics. Overall the kids loved the experience.

Never have had an experience like this and honestly might never go back. I had my sister take my daughter to build a bear and was waiting in line to stuff her bear, some girl with pink hair looked at my sister and attended someone else. My daughter was crying waiting there for 10min. As a mom I don’t like seeing my child cry so I left.

Took my daughter for her first build a bear experience and it was not a good one. Evan was the builder and he was rushing through it and seemed like he would rather be anywhere else but there. We were very disappointed, especially since we spent close to 100.00.
I was trying to get a picture of my daughter's experience and he seemed annoyed that I had my camera out, said don't get me in the video. First of all, dude relax, I was just trying to get a pic of my child. He kept looking up at the camera, smh. My daughter didn't even understand what he was saying bc he was mumbling. Evan, go work somewhere else if you're so miserable and thanks for ruining her experience with your crappy attitude!

I took my daughter to Build-A-Bear Workshop last week to celebrate her birthday, and we were both very excited for what we hoped would be a special and memorable experience. Unfortunately, our visit was overshadowed by the behavior of the associate who assisted us. Evan displayed a noticeably poor attitude throughout the interaction. He appeared disengaged, spoke in a monotone voice, and lacked the enthusiasm and energy that one would expect in a setting designed to bring joy to children.
My daughter, who is only six, was incredibly excited and full of joy, but the lack of warmth and positivity from the staff made the experience less magical than it should have been. I chose not to raise the issue in the moment, as I didn’t want to take attention away from her special day.
I hope Build-A-Bear will take this feedback into consideration when hiring and training employees. A positive, kid-friendly demeanor is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable environment for young guests

A first experience for my 7 year old on her birthday to get a bear, what a cute idea! She loved to pick a bear, stuffing it, getting a heart with a beat, shoes, outfit, everything!
She named her best Pumpkin, and it shares her birthday, even has a birthday certificate!

I ordered a build a bear for my moms birthday. Her dad just passed away, and I wanted to put a custom voice message of him in there. Once it arrived, the voice message was not in there. The bear didn't even come in the cute little box home that they have and apparently once I called to get a refund, they told me it's an extra $.95. I didn't know that we had to pay for that I've been going to build a bear for years and I never knew that we had to pay an extra $.95 for a little box. It looked like it had just been like rushed and the stuffing wasn't even filling the animal up all the way and then just thrown in the box, no care at all. I did get a refund, but i payed 50 dollars for that, not including shipping. Very disappointed, will not be ordering online again.

Everyone was so nice! My son loves his first build a bears!!! We got the ice pudding bear and toothless!
I also recommend getting the scents and voices addition. I recorded my own voice in one of the bears and my lil one is obsessed. I got the prerecorded toothless voice for the other bear.
Strawberry and cotton candy scents last the longest! (Up to 5 years)
