In summary, the review highlights the lack of clarity in the pricing system. The issue is not just a minor oversight but a fundamental problem of transparency in customer transactions. Wouldn’t you agree that customers deserve clear and honest pricing?

I recently experienced a confusing pricing system for tomatoes at Costco. Although the price sign indicates a cost per pound, the way they charge does not reflect that at all. When I wanted to buy a small quantity of tomatoes, I noticed that I was being charged as if I were buying an entire box. For instance, today I picked up a full box of tomatoes, but at checkout, the staff removed some tomatoes from the box—even though the total price was exactly as marked.
It appears that there is either no proper weighing system in place or a lack of clear pricing guidelines. On one occasion, when only six tomatoes were left in my box, I was told that a specific line should be drawn, yet nowhere on the pricing information does it explain this method. Essentially, it turns out that one tomato could be costing around $1.20, based on a box price of $6.99.
If the pricing is meant to be per pound, then the store should either provide an accurate weighing system or clearly display the price per individual tomato. Alternatively, if they intend to sell by the box, the pricing should explicitly state the box price. This inconsistency is not only confusing but also unfair to customers who expect transparent pricing.
In my opinion, the issue is significant: if a sign indicates a per-pound price, customers should be able to buy any weight they want and be charged accordingly. The current approach, however, leaves too much room for misunderstanding. I believe that Costco should either install proper scales for accurate weighing or update the pricing labels to clearly indicate how the tomatoes are being sold.

At the food court, only two kiosks work.
The man at the membership services was not effective nor helpful, and kept blaming the computer and system issues.

The Costco culture is an entity of its own that takes time getting used to as well as the unmarked aisles and unreliable inventory. Costco unquestionably has a competitive advantage regarding the quality and price of many of its products. Today, as I shopped for meat, I did so over loud Mexican hillbilly music (music from the Mexican countryside). It wouldn't have been appropriate if they were jamming to Mexican classics like Jorge Negrete or Pedro Infante, or polka music, American hillbilly music or Enrico Caruso for that matter. Lots of people don't like loud music while they work or shop. Costco needs to change this aspect of its culture. Employees are preparing food. Customers are choosing how they are going to feed their families. They don't need to be forcibly DJ'ed by the niche tastes of one group of Costco's employees. It's disrespectful to the rest of us and unprofessional. When I brought it to the attention of one of the employees, she expressed agreement and told me I could complain, but "they won't do anything about it. You should hear how loud it is after closing!" That doesn't sound like a fair and respectful work environment to me.

They go through a remodel for the food court and since then the pizza is now garbage flat and burnt. The kiosks no longer work except one and no one seems to be alarmed by that. Also they made less seating and the area is over crowded over there now. Just terrible and disappointing strongly considering switching to Sam’s club.

They need to re configure the 1st 2 lanes of parking so you can’t stop and turn when you fist pull in and block all the people behind you. Get rid of or add more receipt checkers. Tell the check out people that they are a service not lazy “Karen’s”.

Straight trash. I go to the store to do an exchange on an item, and they won’t let me in or let me exchange it. The most they could say is, they’ll return it for me and that’s it.
I argued with the Front desk about this, like how hard is it to go to the clothing section and pick up a different size clearly, these employees don’t want to do their job and just prefer to inconvenience everyone.
I’ll say it with my chest; Costco sucks Now and I will never be coming back to this location

It's still clean and tidy, and the items are relatively complete, but the variety and storage of goods have decreased compared to before... I can't buy eggs... Maybe it's just that they didn't have them when I went there, but it has never happened before. I already like it here, I just hope they can do better!

I only buy steaks and their rotisserie chicken. Both are worth the price of membership.
