Drew's pre-purchase inspection was spot-on: professional, skilled, meticulous. He went deep where it mattered: battery, charging system, all things electronic and functional and mechanical. But he didn't kill himself (or run up my cost) on the things I assured him I had already confidently assessed. He was fast, friendly, and frankly a lot of fun to be around as he did his work. Words cannot express my appreciation for Drewmotive! Very detailed and honest. I was looking at a classic vehicle in TX, and I had him inspect the vehicle for me. He provided me with a great deal of information (pictures, videos, reports) to assist me in knowing and understanding the vehicle. Drewmotive is a car genius!

I had a Drew conduct a PPI on a Corvette I was interested in. From the get go, I was impressed by his depth of knowledge and his keen eye for detail. Even before the inspection, Drew educated me on the Corvette’s quirks and what to expect from this make and model. His report and our subsequent discussion described in detail the flaws of the vehicle I was looking at and provided solutions to any potential problems down the line. I am certain I would not have had access to this level of expertise had this PPI been done by anyone else. Well worth the price!

I can't say enough good things about Drew. He recently performed a pre-purchase inspection on an out-of-state vehicle and everything from the initial scheduling/expectations, to the inspection process, the inspection report and (most importantly) the time he took talking through the report was above and beyond what I could have hoped for. He's incredibly professionally and obviously both cares about his work and knows what he is talking about!

Drew is an expert’s expert mechanic. He is the polar opposite of what one finds at a dealership, even those selling and servicing exotic cars—he’s an expert at diagnosing and at making the appropriate repair, not just someone who simply slaps on a replacement part because it’s easier than figuring out what actually should be done. You can tell that he cares for the cars and that he cares for his customers. Do yourself, and your car, a favor: start working with Drew.
P.S. I took one of my cars in for Drew to work on again on 7/10/25, and once again experienced excellent service. You'd be foolish not to bring your car to Drew.

Drew did an incredibly thorough job of inspecting a vehicle I was very interested in purchasing. His photos were extensive, as was his evaluation of the condition and running parts of the vehicle. After months of searching for an AM Rapide S, I finally found one—1,000+ miles away, with no time to go check it out myself. That’s when the daunting task began: finding someone reliable to do a PPI, and for a Rapide, no less.
I was a bit hesitant at first—even with all the glowing reviews for Drew—but I gave him a call. That simple phone call quickly turned into countless ones. Drew shared a wealth of information from the get-go, and I hadn’t even committed to anything. His enthusiasm, transparency, and deep knowledge won me over.
Eventually, I asked him to fly to the seller’s location for the inspection. From that point on, I barely lifted a finger—Drew took the reins completely. He coordinated directly with the seller, handled everything seamlessly, and within days I had extensive, detailed reports and high-res photos in hand.
After a few more insightful calls, I pulled the trigger and bought the car. Then came the next challenge—shipping. Once again, Drew stepped in like a total pro and managed that too, arranging transport straight from the seller’s garage to mine. It felt more like a concierge service than an inspection.
I truly hope I get to thank him in person someday. Drew—if you’re ever in ATL, definitely ping me!

I retained Drew to do a prepurchase inspection (PPI) of a 2018 Maserati GranTurismo that I was considering buying. I can’t say enough good things about Drew and the quality of his inspection! To say that the inspection was thorough is an enormous understatement…he traveled to the dealership, spent a few hours with the car, and got me his report the same day, followed by a lengthy phone call to discuss his findings. The inspection could not have been more thorough…he inspected (and photographed) every inch of the car and his detailed report, which contained hundreds of photographs, paint analysis, and a narrative summary of his inspection of all the car’s systems, was invaluable in helping me to decide whether or not to buy the car. He even assisted by proactively calling the dealer and working them down on the price and getting them to agree to do a lot of work on problem areas that he spotted. If you are considering purchasing an exotic (or any vehicle, really), definitely get in touch with Drew and have him inspect before you buy…if nothing else, he’ll find even the smallest flaws and you can use his findings as leverage to negotiate yourself a great deal on your dream car.
