My husband and I purchased and picked up a 4 drawer chest of drawers. It was very heavy for us, my husband is 80 and I am 77. Got it home and my handy husband got the outside put together with no issue. But found the front, back and bottoms of the drawers were correct but the sides were all drilled and slotted for the right side. So we had 8 rights and no lefts. Called Ikea customer service and could not have been served better. They are shipping out 4 left sides for us Fed Ex and we can expect them within a few days. Thank you Bill in customer service who was so very nice and thank you Ikea for great customer service.

Purchased 3 Cabinets for coats and shoes. First unit took a while to assemble second and third went great! Looks great Purchased Baskets and cushions. Great price. Went to 3rd level Chocolate cake and Coffee great for cold night.

IKEA what on earth is going on with your quality!? I grew up only on ikea furniture and it always lasted our family long because of your quality and great prices but now not only has your quality of products gone down hill in addition your prices are a little to hefty for what your now selling. There are many competitors out there with lower prices and higher quality but we chose to come back to you and this is what we get? First when I purchased the dresser half of the plastic white parts were broke and then we were missing parts for 2 drawers. I went the other day to get the parts at customer service came back and today we’re trying to install the last drawer and for one the screws provided were wrong their supposed to be the flat head screws so the drawer can close smoothly and then for two the most important ikea marks the pre made holes for us to screw in ourselves and there was nothing there so we had to figure it out on our own which is fine to a point when you through in the wrong screws provided it didn’t want to screw in and we didn’t want to push it so the wood wouldn’t crack , my finger is burnt from the metal , the screws don’t match , and the drawer doesn’t close… honestly I would rather spend double at a durable furniture store I’m just so disappointed with you ikea you use to be my happy place.

This store sucks so bad. Ungodly wait times for a small piece of glass shelving. Barely any employees for this oversized store with cheap junk. Employees led me in the complete opposite direction. Then gave me sass when I asked to be led to where everything is. Meatballs OK. Soda tastes foul. I’d rather be waterboarded then enter the ikea of Schaumburg ever again.

This review is just for the cafe/cafeteria portion of the store. This location recently renovated. They installed touchscreen ordering only. This is similar to McDonalds, but fails completely in its implementation.We visited on a 1/13/24. It was lunch hour. With no exaggeration, half of the terminals were offline. While we were waiting in line to order, 2 other terminals went down while people were ordering. We waited 10 minutes to finally put in our order. With the new system food requests that should take about 3 min take a good 8-10 minutes. We are a family of four with two girls 9 yrs old. It shouldn't be this hard. On the menus, there is no customization at all. I prefer my meatballs with extra gravy and no lingonberry sauce. Sorry. It's not happening. There are no options to customize. I get that labor costs and efficiency and all that, but we won't be eating here again.Sadly, we went to the Bolingbrook location which still has the 'order with a human' set up. They told us that that location along with Oak Creek, WI will also be getting this system. This will definitely have us NOT eating at Ikea and ultimately spending less time there. With prices in the cafe what they are, Ikea is making no money on food, but it's there to keep you in the store. I get it. With these changes, it seems there will be less folks spending less time in the store.

So in the store they tell us we have to make a appointment to buy cabinets tried calling to make a appointment the lady said no we can't make a appointment by phone so I have to go to the store make a appointment and comeback for my appointment that's just retarded

The food court is crowded and crowded, but if you go to the back after receiving your food, it will be less crowded.
