Macys Customer service says we cant get our chair repaired by them if we haven't purchased an extended warranty. We told them WE WILL PAY for the repair and they refuse to help us. $1400 chair now worthless, but could be fixed if they would let us PAY for repair. OR even if we could order the part. But they told us they don't do that.I really am shocked!

Unbelievable experience at Macy's today! I picked up a Kate Spade picture frame at curbside and noticed that the frame was thrown in the bag. When I questioned the young lady who brought the bag out, why the frame was not in a box she responded that she only delivers at curbside. They are in the process of moving from a stand-alone store to a department inside the Macy's in Woodfield Mall. There were a handful of items to see/purchase and no one spoke to us the entire time we were there. I saw at least 5 employees and there were three groups of shoppers. Very disappointing. We had stopped at the mall location first since the website listed furniture on the first floor.

This place is dirty ! The associate once I found one said the cleaning crew is not here on Monday’s. It does not look like it has ever been here! The associates are sitting around talking an one wants to lift a finger !! Horrible if Marshall Field was alive today he would be applauded.

We ordered a sofa and did not like it. We tried to return it 10 days later and they refused to take the return. $3K for poor quality and terrible service and a sofa that I don't want. Will never ever ever buy anything from Macy's again.

I’m beyond disappointed. I went into the store to purchase boots. The associate working was very helpful however there was not enough coverage /meaning you did not have as many associates working on the sales floor. There was only one person in the women’s section and she was doing her best to help everyone. There should have been at least 3 or more on the sales floor. If I could give zero stars I would. When I came into the Macy's furniture store located on 1200 N Meacham Rd Schaumburg, IL 60173 United States inquiring about the zarina bedroom set I was greeted by an associate named ANABEL. The first thing I did was pull out my phone to reference the online price for the three pieces I tentatively planned on ordering which clearly were marked at - $2,169.82 I then proceeded to asked if she could pricematch. Not only did she assure me she would match the online price she told me she could even save me an additional 100$ bringing it to $2069.82. After looking up the bedroom set on her computer she notified me the dresser mirror was on back order so she suggested it would be best to run two separate transactions so I could receive the nightstand and dresser and have the mirror delivered at a later date. Therefore not having the entirety of the order delayed. It wasn't until after I swiped my card and both transactions were completed she handed me the final copy of the receipts. In which reviewing I immediately recognized the numbers were grossly miscalculated. Not only did she not honor the $2069.82 she initially quoted me on (to keep me from leaving and purchasing online because she works off commission) she overcharged the online price by $333.78. The entire experience was tactless and has left a bad taste in my mouth. To say I will never be back there is an understatement. I then proceeded to go home and attempt to purchase the furniture online only to have my card declined? With a credit limit three times the amount of the furniture trying to be purchased and a current balance of zero? After spending almost two hours on the phone and talking to three different associates via phone (who were all lovely and very professional I might add) they still unfortunately could not clear it up and now I'm left to call back and deal with this all over again tomorrow... I have never been upset enough to post a review on yelp. Ever. All I can say is beware - keep your eyes open and I truly hope this does not happen to anyone else!!!
