I liked the doctor but she was running very behind for the appointment, she did a great job and was very knowledgeable but it was also expensive and I wouldn’t go back, also the store wanted twice as much for my lenses as the next place I went

Please learn from my mistake and don’t visit this location! I’ll tell you why:-The prices are very expensive for both frames and especially for lenses, they don’t do any basic lenses everything “premium” and my quote was for over $900 out of pocket, AND OVER $650 WITH INSURANCE-The employees were actually yelling at each other during my visit-The front desk employee was extremely condescending and rude to mePlease don’t waste your time coming here

Great! I have a hard time picking frames and they took the time to help me pick frames and ensure that I was happy with my purchase. My glasses were ready earlier than expected. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at this store!!

I had a terrible experience with Pearle Vision and I will never go back there.I ordered new lenses for my glasses on 08/01 and they said it would take a few weeks for them to be ready.I called them after 3 weeks to check on the status of my order, but they said they had not received the lenses from the lab yet.I went on vacation and came back in late September. I called them again and they said they had to check with the lab and they would call me back. They never did.I called them the next day and they said the lab had broken the frame and they needed a new one. They said they would update me, but they never did.I was fed up with their lack of communication and customer service, so I called them to cancel the order and get a refund. They gave me all kinds of excuses and did not process my request.I decided to go to the store in person to get my refund. The receptionist was nice, but she said she could not process refunds and the manager was not there. She said he would be there the next day.I told her I wanted my refund today, after waiting for 3 months for my order. I waited for an hour until the assistant manager came and gave me my refund.I don't care about the frame being broken or the delays. I care about how they treated me as a customer and how they made it so hard to get a refund for something I never received.

Although the staff and doctors were very nice, this location definitely should work on time management. If a patient has an appointment, making sure that they are seen in a timely manner should be a priority. I hope that they new manager changes that and this issue can be resolved. Again, very friendly staff!

Such an amazing experience. I’ve had an awful time going to americas best the past few years, couldn’t be happier that I switched! Dr vivacqua listened to every concern I had and helped me to make sure I would be receiving a pair of glasses I can actually see out of this time. The atmosphere of the retail portion of the store is amazing thanks to the employees. We had a great time talking to everyone and sorting out what would be best for my glasses needs and even scheduled my boyfriend an appointment. Sean was greatly helpful and made the experience feel less like a chore and more like a fun outting.. can’t wait to come back next year!

Thank you to Shion and the staff for helping us with my daughter’s glasses. We appreciated getting them in time for her to take an upcoming standardized test. She was very happy with them and we appreciated getting them on time so that she had a chance to get used to them before her test. Thank you to everyone at this location for their care and kindness!

I did two glasses with them. The first one turned out great. For that reason I came back to put lenses on my second pair. The eye doctor is pretty good. The store associate was just bad. Forgot her name it’s an Indian descent lady. As I said I want a lenses exactly the same as in my first glasses. Well, no it wasn’t the same she added the anti reflecting coating and that’s not what I asked for. But if that’s not enough I purchased the frames myself online brand new out of the box. Few days later she called to pick up my glasses. As I came and checked the glasses I noticed the lenses are not what I wanted but ok I understand it’s too late… ok but that wasn’t the biggest disappointment. I noticed a scratch right on the nose bridge. As I pointed out the lady responded - “you won’t be able to see it from far distance” this was the most unprofessional response I’ve ever heard. As I’m spending $500Honestly I don’t see me coming back.

Needed a frame adjustment on a new glasses.Went to Pearle Vision on Golf rd in Schaumburg. Maria was very helpful and knowledgeable with what she does.I highly recommend Maria, she is very pleasant to customers.

Forced to pay optional retinal exam as self pay. Was told by receptionist that this cost could be removed if I had insurance but not removed as self pay. very shady

Soooo.....I had a moment of rage today. I took Liam to Pearle Vision for his eye exam since back in June I had a good experience.The problems started as soon as we entered the lady that greeted us that I later found out to be the manager started off by saying that she didn't want to work on Saturday and that she has family at home for an event. I didn't say anything, I smiled politely.Our appointment was at 9:40. We waited an hour for Liam to be seen. Found out that Liam needs glasses. Fine, no issue.The kids glasses were too small so we went to the men's side. Liam picked out a handsome rimless pair.I show the lady that greeted us what he wanted. She then gave her opinion that maybe he should choose plastic and that Liam won't like them, and that he will break them. I told her, "He knows what he likes and he is responsible, and that I know my kid."Then she started adding all the extras like blur light reflectance without asking me. I told her to take them off. Then, the total came to close to $300. I asked her if we could do what I did last time, and I pay half now, and half when I pick up his glasses. She said, "We don't do that." I explained what happened last time and told her to look up my account. She did and said, "Oh, we did do that." Now, I'm pissed! She thought I was a liar. She said that the employee isn't here any longer because of certain things she did. So, I took that her termination was MY fault.I BLEW UP! I yelled that she was unprofessional, unpleasant, and rude. Don't tell me you don't want to work on a Saturday because I don't care. Don't tell me what glasses to buy because I didn't ask you. Give me my son's prescription and we will buy glasses online.She gave it to me, I paid $49 for the damn exam.My proudest moment? No. But I had tried to stay calm. I apologized to Liam and I spent $116 for glasses online for him. He wasn't upset. He just never same lose my cool before. He was angry at the lady talking to me when it is choice to what glasses to wear, and I had already given him permission for the frames.I will never use Pearle Vision again.
