I called Public Storage two weeks in advance to notify them I was moving out, made it very clear. Despite that, they still charged me $300 for the unit. And to make matters worse, they moved me out of the unit anyway, so I couldn’t even access what I supposedly paid for.
So let me get this straight… I paid $300 for absolutely nothing. No unit, no access, just a charge on my card. Totally unacceptable and feels like a scam.

I went 5 weeks with out lights in my storage unit when I was moving. I received a discount for the last month I was in the unit. I was told they were waiting for a vendor. I rented a smaller unit but had to pay for a lock because you have to use the internet to rent. I have been promised a refund but have not received in. If I could find another storage location I would leave and never fo business with Public Storage again

Great experience, smooth process to get unit and get rid of it. Price increased ~$70 per month over the course of a year. Not a big fan of that, but I guess that's the nature of the game.
