Just a quick note to say "Thanks!" for checking the brakes on my '21 Outback XT and the overall inspection your team did on my car. I am 70 years old .. been driving for 54 years. I've NEVER received as thorough an inspection of -any- of my vehicles .. EVER. AWESOME! Thank you SO much. Also, please give my thanks to Chris, your project manager, for the tour of Six Star - the rebuild and customization work done by Six Star Motorsports is like nothing I've ever seen at a local shop. As an owner of three Subarus, I can assure you, I will be bringing ALL my vehicles to SixStar .. forever. Thanks again for the OUTSTANDING service!

Such an amazing work place, everybody at six star was extremely kind to my vehicle as if it were theirs. Specially Chris, he truly took the wheel and walked me through the best possible way to go about fixing the engine in my Subaru wrx sti. I had taken it to another place, and the mechanic there clearly had no knowledge of working with Subaru cars. After rebuilding engine at prior spot, it only lasted 7 months before it started giving me problems. Thankfully I came across Chris and his team at six stars, they were so kind to let me store the car for about 8 months meanwhile I figured out what to do with the difficult situation. Finally I was able to get the money and proceeded to rebuilding the engine for the second time, but this time it was completely different. Chris and the team made sure that the car was in top shape, no leakages nor any surprises. Last week Monday the car was tuned up and it is finally ready to be used. I am beyond thankful, if only I knew about six star motorsports before, they would've been my ONLY choice. So Chris, thank you so much once again!

Me and my father decided to stop by at Six Star Motorsports just to look at the place. We went inside and the people were super friendly with us. They were able to help us out with any questions we asked. They even gave us a small tour around the building. I will for sure want to make business with these guys in the future! I would recommend going to them for your Subaru needs.

Just picked up my 2016 wrx from them after having a walnut blasting service and oul change done, car runs noticeable better! Better idle and start ups and smoother more responsive acceleration, knowledgeable staff they are pros when it comes to subaru platforms, highly recommend them to anyone with a subaru!

Our Forester XT had an engine failure in October, and after bad experiences with local shops (which likely contributed to the failure) I decided I wanted someone who knows my car to do the work. Had Six Star build me an engine, and the work was flawless. Engine has been broken in, tune has been completed, and everything is holding up extremely well. Also had a few other things fixed/replaced by Six Star as well. Spoke with them about my experiences at other shops to find out I could have had previous work done here at a fraction of the cost. On top of that, their customer service is outstanding all around.It takes me over an hour to get to Six Star, and despite this I will be having ALL my work done here from now on. No point in getting overcharged locally for trash work when I can have actual experts do the work here for a fraction of the cost.This is the 2nd car-specific specialty shop I have worked with, and from my experience you can not beat a shop that knows your car. General mechanics just can't compete with the expertise. If you own a Subaru in the Chicago area, this is the place to go.

Thes guys are amazing! I got my clutch replaced with them and they were rock stars and got it back to me in just a couple days. Now I’m getting my center differential done with them and they were so kind and let me come in immediately to check my car and found the problem and are going to try and squeeze me in to get the job done as soon as they can. Highly recommended and are great at explaining the problem and showing you what’s wrong. They are deff the best of the best.

Great shop to work with. Car came in for a full motor, turbo, fuel, and exhaust work along with other supporting mods. Project was scheduled and work was done when originally planned. I was from out of state and not able to stop in so the shop called weekly with progress updates along with photos every day the car was being worked on. Chris made me feel like I was there watching the team work on my car. Great company and will be back in the spring for some more work along with a tune. Can’t wait.Services: Engine repair
