DON'T DO IT! This group may be ok for a cross-town apartment move, but STAY AWAY if you have a house or anything at all of value. Like another customer below, seven months ago I had many precious items completely destroyed or damaged by a crew that slammed things around and failed to wrap and pack properly. First off, we had the crew boss come inventory the house because we have crystal, china, art, Stickley furniture, stereo equipment and other breakables. You'd think he'd get it right, but the crew who showed up a week later had ZERO bubble wrap! The same crew doing the move also packed it. Unheard of in our experience with other Two Men and a Truck franchises moving a whole house. The crew used everything WE had: table cloths, pillows, blankets, towels, even toilet paper to wrap breakables. Someone on the crew threw unwrapped Waterford crystal into my underwear bag, destroying both. They shattered a cup and ladle from a $10,000 European crystal punch set, and a cup from Mikasa china. They destroyed artwork, frames and glass (even destroyed a prized piece signed by musician Boz Scaggs- my heart shatters), lost an entire closet of appliances, lost a Sonos sound bar and a tv (it makes you wonder where stereos and TVs go with this bunch... ). One of their number put a cold water bottle on a finished antique dining room table, destroying the finish. They ripped the wood trim right off a Stickley coffee table. Worst of all I made an insurance claim and for months got silence. I checked in and they insisted I send in another "form" with the same information and photos I already provided! Total stall. So I did that, and was very fair only to seek repair and modest replacements. Still nothing.

My moving team exceeded all my expectations. I have never seen three harder working young men - they completed all that I asked with incredible speed and care! I highly recommend this service.

I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to others! From start to finish everyone was very professional and friendly. The person who answers the phone for an organization can make or break it. The office personnel were wonderful t work with and the movers were also a pleasure to talk to. I was so impressed with how friendly and efficient everyone was. Thank you all for making this part of my move a great experience!

We used Two Men and a Truck for an hour move on March 26, and our team was great! Our team was led by Jimmy, and his team was Chris, Chris, Izzy, Damian, and Rahmon. They were all very nice, respectful, and helpful! They worked with us to place our furniture where we wanted it in the house. We told them the wrong room for a few things, and they kindly removed the items for us. We ended up needing an extra truck, and they took care of the steps to get the extra truck. Separate from the movers, the office manager worked with us to help us with an issue afterwards, and it was taken care of in a very timely manner! Jimmy and his team is the way to go!

On March 1, 2024 I used Two Men and a Truck. The two guys moving me were Jimmy and Tyae. Both of them were quite exceptional in their abilities to handle my unpreparedness (I was only given two weeks to move and prepare). Jimmy and Tyae didn't complain even one iota about my not being prepared. In fact, as soon as they got here, the freight elevator I reserved in my building went down IMMEDIATELY. I felt sooooo bad for Jimmy and Tyae, they carried a lot of my stuff up the stairs. Jimmy and Tyae are very personable and knew what they were doing in my extremely difficult move. I would definitely use Two Men and a Truck again because of their professionalism. Next time I have to move I'd like to request their superb services.

The guys were very nice. I treated them well. They did not listen. They repacked boxes that didn't need to be repacked. The left part of my belongings at the old place, I had to hire others to finish moving. They randomly put things where they wanted. For example I have a bookcase standing in the middle of the living room, I cannot move. I have boxes marked for "Storage" aka storage unit attached to apartment in the living room; boxes upstairs marked for downstairs. I cannot find important things such as one of my work laptops; my jewelry box, other important essentials. The left things on the patio outside; that are too heavy for me to lift. The GM Christoper will not do anything. I will have to hire College Hunks to help me. I have a dispute in with my credit card company. I am sending them invoices of things I have to replace because I can't find them; such as a blood pressure monitor for reimbursement.Added 02/06/2024: I find it disturbing that the owner's reply is not showing they care about customer. The reply from the owner, is a generic, auto generated response. 'I'm sorry we could not perform this move to your expectations. "I don't need an apology, I would like the owner of this franchise to contact me directly. The fact that I will have to hire more people to fix this catastrophe, and all the owner says is, "sorry," I have no words. To the owner of this franchise: I am requesting to speak with you and for you to see the war zone left by your crew. I am realistic, I know neither will ever never happen. So, I am formally requesting the owner, not the GM to contact me. I am realistic. The reason I hired a mover, was not to repack boxes, not to go through Amazon boxes and repack them. I hired movers to do what I could not, after having surgery, RSV and pneumonia all in the last 1 1/2 months.

Poorly runned company. Had my move last week and we went over everything that was suppose to be moved. Some items were heavier than others. They sent the most skinniest guys. We were quoted 5-6 hours they took 12. Most of it was from standing around because there third guy left and we weren’t told until about 3 hours after he left. Then they were on there phones outside probably trying to get someone else to come. And when they did that was another hour and half wait. So 4.5 hours of nothing being done. Then they say that someone took all there equipment off there trucks. So a lot of wasted time. Then on top of everything they cracked my $1000 tv, broke the back of my dresser and left the pieces all over the bedroom floor, leaned my front door againest my French doors just for it to crash through it and scratch it up, scratched up my laundry room door as well. And at the end of the move we told the movers we are not paying for 12 hours. The GM Chris called my wife and they called and he said he would call us the next day, well he didn’t. Movers came back and gave us a bill of 1600. We asked if this was the final bill and they said yes. So it was 100 more then we were quoted so we just paid it. Two days later my wife gets a bill for 1300. My wife called this Chris guy numerous times without a response. So we called the finance lady and she said that this Chris guy won’t look into our damages until we pay the bill, well we aren’t going to pay the bill with all the issues that occurred. So she gave us the corporate number. They are a bigger waste of time and they said the same thing about not addressing damages until we pay the bill. If my stuff isn’t replaced and fixed. Then I will seek some help to make sure my stuff is payed for and replaced.

the process via office and customer service was bad and no one even picked up the phone to notify us that there was an 2 1/2 hour delay leaving us at a another location just waiting with no response! Then when we finally got a call back eventually the geberal manager stated he didnt like my attitude and threatened to cancel and refund my money leaving my DAUGHTERS STUFF STRANDED AT HER OLD APARTMENT!!!! SERIOUSLY!!

From starting the process to the end of the move everything was done professionally. The Schaumburg team in the office was so patient and kind explaining the process, the cost breakdown and any "stupid" question I had. The two movers were amazing from the start, explaining all the paperwork, how the process was going to work and went above and beyond to help make a terrible job a breeze for me. They arrived on time, were very professional, courteous and at the same time very nice and understanding.

Great job! Including drive time they were done in 4 hours! I also asked them to move some additional items to storage and they did not hesitate to help out in anyway they can. Highly recommended. Also the staff at the office was very helpful and friendly.

Our movers, PJ and Brian did a terrific job. They arrived on time (calling ahead to say they were on the way). Handled everything with care and put up with us changing our minds where things went on a few occasions. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck and specifically PJ and Brian. Mike from the Gurnee/Schaumburg/East Dundee, IL office was also great to work with and the estimate given was spot on.

We hired Two Men and a Truck to remove two pieces of furniture from our home. Our movers, Richy and Matt, were professional and polite and did a great job. We will use Two Men and a Truck for our future moving needs.

I was very satisfied with the professional service provided by Ariel and Eddie in a recent move of some of my mother's furniture from her home to Brookdale Senior Living. Everything was wrapped in protective coverings to ensure everything arrived safely.
