I actually had a horrible experience here. Christian was more worried about what phone for me to have then the one I wanted to see. He also was upset after I didn't want to buy the bundle crap he was trying to sell. I actually paid $44 for a charger to find out it was $25 at another store, but the one that took the cake he actually didn't activate my phone before I left the store. I asked so before I leave my old phone will be off and the new one will be on. He failed at that. Then I called to ask why he didn't activate it and he was laughing and said come back in or call customer service. Do not go to this cracker jack store go to the corporate on on Higgins. Hope this helps other to stay away from this store.

Don't know their stuff too well. Wanted to give me a $10.00 service fee to pay bill and turn service back on (account was in my mother's name and she passed away). Told me there was internet service in my area and it hasn't reached here yet. Anyway, long story short, Verizon on Higgins cleared everything up with no BS. Don't waste your time at this location on Roselle Rd.

My husband needed a new phone.
This is the closest location to us so went there. This guy Christian was super pushy, trying to sell all these extra stuff: internet, accesories and other things .We said no but he kept on insisting and insisting. He charges 50 $ to activate a new phone ,a service that was done for free at other Verizon stores. Never going back again !
If you plan on buying a new phone DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION ! go to the corporate location on Roselle and Meacham in Schamburg.They are not a franchise and offer free sim instalation and data transfer.

One of their agents tried to overcharge and fool us with more than what we paying for. Be careful in dealing with their agents especially the one named Christian.

Yesterday, the agent named Christian Williams tried to deceive us and almost made us pay an extra $110+. Good thing we caught it, and yet he just joked about his mistake after.
ALWAYS ASK FOR A SPECIFIC BREAK DOWN OF THE FEES you are paying for out-the-door. Question everything they try to charge you for.
They charge you with "Ready?Go! Premium package" on the final bill - Corporate office doesn't even recognize what this charge really means.
"Freebies" ARE NOT really free, of course, you are paying for EVERY SINGLE ITEM you take from the store.
I first went to this Verizon franchise location (in Suburban Plaza by Roselle Rd) April 2024 and talked to a guy named Bobby. I had a pleasant experience with Bobby so I decided to return to the same location yesterday Aug 26 to add a new line. An agent named Christian W attended to us right away. At first he was pleasant and addressed our concerns right away, but then he started pushing all these "freebies" on us and charged us $180 in the end. It reflected on our bill but when I called the corporate office (by Higgins Rd) for a break up, they said they don't charge those and it's just these franchise locations (such as the one in Suburban Plaza) that do that. Christian W initially charged us $480.50 for our transaction overall but we questioned it, saying the math is not adding up. He then called his boss and it was actually $370. What a bogus.
I would suggest you go to any Verizon Corporate office/location when you start a line or anything of great importance. These franchise agents, like Christian W, will really squeeze every single penny out of you if you're not watchful and cautious. Always question everything they charge you with.

The staff’s unrelenting focus on selling me stuff that I didn’t ask for and don’t need is enough to lead me to post this negative review. I came in to add a member to my family plan and get her a new phone. Two hours later, we walked away with our heads still spinning from the games, just as bad as the worst car salesperson I have ever met. If I hadn’t had positive experiences at other Verizon stores, I would consider switching providers. There are other Verizon stores in the area - I recommend you avoid this one. And if you can’t, ask for a _printed_ statement of exactly what the initial and monthly cost will be for whatever they are selling you.

Best customer service ever, worth the 45 minute drive. Chris and Nick were beyond helpful. Dropped my bill and did everything to give me the best deal.
