This is regarding poor service I recieved at the Verizon Wireless at the location 1251 E. Higgins Road, Schaumburg, Illinois on 2.3.24 at about 6:00 pm. I had placed an order online for a Galaxy S24 Ultra Plus and went to that location to pick the phone up. I was greeted by and older asian male who looked up my order on his tablet and told me that it was "pending". He did not tell me the reason why but told me to call customer service to see what the issue may be. I checked my phone and noticed that I received an email from Verizon stating "Unfortunately, there was a payment failure and we were unable to complete your order with the payment information you provided. Please use the following secure link to complete your order. The link will allow you to resubmit your payment information or use a different payment method." I clicked the link and tried several times to make the payment and it failed multiple times even through there were funds available. After attempting multiple times, I received an error message that prevented me from making any more payments. A few minutes later I spoke to another Verizon representative at the store, he was a younger gentleman; I told him I ran into issues with making the payment online. He looked up my order on his tablet and also said that the status was "pending" . He told me that he had no idea what the issue was and later handed me a long list of phone numbers and told me to call the "loyaly customer line". I was appalled by that statement because I expected them to help me figure out what the issue was. Both representatives (including a female representative) did not appear interested in helping me with the issue and all three representatives said that it was "pending" and they had no idea why. I called the loyalty phone number at the store and spoke to a representative that told me that I had to pay for taxes. I told him I was confused because I had already made full payment and that I used my Verizon dollars to pay for that. I told him that I could no longer visit the link since there was an error message. After multiple failed attempts to explain to me what the issue was, he finally told me that I had to cancel the order and re-order the phone. After I hung up the phone, I spoke to the same older asian male (manager?) and asked him again if he could help me understand the problem. He told me again that he could not do anything since the order was "pending". I asked if I could cancel the order and re-order it again and he told me no because the store was closing in 7 minutes. I was appalled by the customer service I received both onsite and on the phone. I left the store dissapointed and confused as to why no one was interested in helping me out with my online order. When I arrived home, I called customer service again and finally spoke to a representative that helped me understand what the issue was. He explained to me that I did make full payment and the initial email requesting tax payment was in error. He told me that the reason why the status was pending was because the phone had not arrived at the store. He was professional and helped me understand what the issue was. My main concern is that I have been a Verizon customer for many years and have never received such poor treatment. I was appalled that a Verizon store rep would tell me to call the "loyalty" hotline for help when they could have helped me. Overall, I'm extremely dissapointed with this service.

I was in yesterday to activate the new phone that I ordered through myverizon app. For some reason the phone was looking like non pay in their system. It took us 1.5 hours with Verizon 1-800# then fraud department. The lady whose name is ISA or Issa (Fraud department) who refused to give me her employee number or the last name was determined not to help even though I ordered the phone from them and obviously there was a mistake somewhere, someone from the company made. They treated this as a fraud case without telling me or other verizon staff in the shop what the reason was.Luckily Max and the location manager Cesar helped me solve the problem by exchanging the phone. I can’t thank them enough.

I went inside. I spoke with a lady named Veronica looking for a bundle of four lines. I already have the phones she told me it will be $60 per line with auto pay and I already checked the plan online it says $30 per line with auto pay, I don’t know, what’s the trick here it make me not trust Verizon

The Arlington Heights location can learn a lot from this Schaumburg location. Every single customer is greeted even when all hands are full. I was getting helped by a lady and right when she found the perfect gap (turn my phone off then on) to leave me for just a moment to get another customer and quickly figure out why the customer is here. Also, a one hour wait turned to just 25 minutes. It was very busy when I walked in but when I was watching how the employees worked I had a feeling it wouldn't take that long. Overal, they institutionalized urgency. Great job to the team.

Worst Verizon Store Ever, SchaumburgI was a Verizon Business customer for 10 years. My wife and I both had cell phones from Verizon, a MiFi Wireless 5G router and a home phone router.I have spent over $10,000 on Verizon products and services over my ten years as a customer.Last year, one of my friends told me my phone number was not working. Strange, my bill was current. I called Verizon several times without resolution. Finally, after a month and a half without my phone working, a customer service rep told me my home phone router equipment was out of date. Great when was Verizon planning on letting me know that so I could upgrade the equipment?So I decided to change mobile service to Comcast Xfinity. Then, Verizon deducted $1300 from my business account, without prior notice, even though my business account was still open. I decided to return everything to Verizon, my phone, MiFi and home phone router. I returned the mifi device on Friday, October 20, 2023, without incident and Jasper, the assistant manager, approved return of the device. Today, 10/26/2023, I entered the store to return the phone Verizon tried to deduct in full out of my business account without prior notice. This time Jasper claimed he was not the one who approved the MiFi device return six days ago. He lied and I have receipts. The store manager asked me to leave the premises after I called Jasper out for his "bull$#!+" lie. The store manager called the police. When the police showed up, the officer said, "if I were you, I would be upset too, that is why I chose AT&T."The customer service I have experienced at Verizon was shameful. I intend to share this review with thousands of my patients, friends and family.

Had a terrible experience with their customer service. Was told to use their app or website to get manager statues, but I informed them that I already was. Was still rejected by the staff. Went home and verified the manager statues on the website AND App. Talked with their customer rep to see why I was rejected. Was told that everything was good in the systems to proceed and update my phone/plan. Went back to this store, and was once again reject. Was told that there was nothing they could do because my name wouldn't show up on their tablet. Showed them in the App my name and manager statues, and the lady just turned around and left me. After about 2 hours of this fantastic customer service, I decided to switch over to T-Mobile and i'd advise you to do the same. At least don't go to this useless store if you still want to stay with verizon.
