I bought a new Jeep Wrangler in July 2022. I love having a wrangler but my whole experience has been AWFUL! My radio has not worked since day 1. I’ve taken it in 15-20 times to try and get it fixed. I’ve been told everything from the service department from “You bought a car, not a radio.” To “All new car radios don’t work because the old radio frequencies don’t match up with the new radios.” And “No one listens to the radio anymore, it’s about satellite radio and apps on your phone.” Did I mention that the apps on my phone don’t always come in clear either. I could go on and on about how bad this entire experience has been and the amount of time and money that I’ve spent trying to fix it. But for now, I am left with a car that has a radio that does NOT work and a car that is scratched up and damaged from them trying to fix it at this location and another location.

My salesperson Adrian was very nice and had the perfect not pushy personality and I have zero complaints about him whatsoever. We’ve bought jeeps from this location before and loved them!!! The payments I agreed on were up charged at the very end of my purchase when i was signing the final documents which to me was shady, and there was a lot of confusion and miscommunication on what warranty I got with certified pre owned and what I didn’t get. This was my first purchase by myself and obviously should’ve done some more research on my end on used cars, but feeling some crazy regret after a week of my car not starting. Honestly wish they would buy my car back from me so I can just get a new Jeep from them!!? 3 months of this car and it’s been much more sadness than excitement, looks like i will need to replace my battery and whatever else is going on with it. Just so disappointed, first car from the only dealership my mom and dad have gotten our family cars from and I got the bad one >:-(

Buying a car is never fun and you gotta do your research. I definitely should have done more on my end. We went in to test drive one vehicle and left 4 hours later with a GMC Acadia which we love! Amber was wonderful and did her job but once we better understood our contract we weren’t 100% happy, so did go back to understand more about the deal. They gave us a small check to help with the situation which we appreciate and everyone was very nice throughout the process.

I bought a used Stelvio from Ziegler in Schaumburg yesterday. Lanny was quite honestly the best sales person I’ve ever worked with. Super personable, very open about additional costs/products, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The car was very clean and well prepped, and they were great about addressing a couple small cosmetic concerns (it was a used car after all, it’s going to have blemishes). It was an overall impressive experience.

Lied about the mileage on the website and service records. Car had 30k more miles than advertised. All service records (performed at their location) had the vehicle listed at 62k miles. Went to sign the documents and vehicle actually had 91k. Car value was immediately worth less than half of what it would've been. Do not trust this dealership. Reading other reviews this seems to be a common error.

Just purchased my first car and had the best experience ever! I loved how helpful and honest our sales person Miguel was. Miguel was very nice and did the best he can to get me a good deal. He was not pushy at all and made sure that I was happy with the car and made sure that I understood absolutely everything. I highly recommend you to check this dealership out.

Bought a car from Jesse, because I was desperate and I was a sucker who drove a rental vehicle into the lot. Dude was a total snake oil salesman. He refused to tell me the APR after he pestered me to give him a number for how much I wanted to pay each month, even though I kept saying that I wanted to plug the numbers into my APR calculator first. He won, I gave in and accidentally gave him a bad number too early like a true sucker lol. Didn’t find out how bad the APR was until it was time to pay. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Then, he lied about returning my rental vehicle for me, even though I didn’t ask for him to do that. HE INSISTED that I should leave the keys with him, so he could do it for me, because that is a service Ziegler offers. I’m an idiot for trusting someone else to do this, but it was just me with my baby daughter when I purchased the vehicle and he made it sound so legit, that I couldn’t turn down how convenient that was. Lo and behold, 2 business days later, that rental vehicle is still sitting in the parking lot of the dealership and money is actively draining from my bank account. I drove back there and someone grabbed the keys out of his desk to return it right before I got there, because I called about it ahead of time. Whatever, he cost me a lot of money and flaked on promises that he didn’t need to make, but I got over it.Lastly, 2 months pass and I’m just waiting for my permanent registration and title to come in the mail still. I receive and email stating all of these additional requirements that I need to actually receive my registration and title. These requirements were never mentioned, I haven’t received a call, text or email from Ziegler stating that I needed any of this until now. I’ve already made 2 car payments and moved to a new state, just as this email came in. Now, there’s an entirely new set of requirements to receive what I need to legally drive my vehicle. I’ll take ownership for being an idiot, but I had over 2 months to get this stuff done. All he told me was that it would take a month or so to get mailed to me. THAT’S IT. Nothing about anything that I had to do on my end. The bait and switch, the constant distractions, the lies and the conveniently forgotten information that was VERY important for the customer to know.Like I said, this is on me too, but if I asked this dude if I should jump off a bridge, he would probably tell me all of the reasons why that’s a great idea, instead of talking me out of it. That’s the vibe he gives off. I’m not even mad, I’m just still running into non-payment related issues that stem from my singular day of interacting with this guy. It’s honestly pretty funny, but it won’t be for me until this stuff actually gets resolved.

Everyone treated me with respect and kindly. I know that they tried very hard to get me the best deal with my purchase and I really appreciate it. Everyone had a different job to do and I was glad to meet people who were sincerely helpful and honest. May God bless you all and keep the business all up and up.

The process in buying a new Jeep Grand Cherokee with Ziegler in Schaumburg was wonderful. This was our second time buying a vehicle from this dealer and we had no complaints. Our sales person was Jesse and JD and they were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy and I would definitely recommend our sales person Jesse. Thank you for the awesome vehicle.Teri and Dave Zelasko

First off I have to state the Dan in customer service is a wonderful and kind human being and we need more people in this world like him. It would definitely be a better place.I had replaced my thermostat in Fl 10 months ago and it went out again. They were backed up but told him I had to drive to Fl in 5 days and was really upset as I have two large dogs and a blind cat and didn’t want to breakdown on the side of the road. He scrambled to get me in. Next he dealt with Zurich, my warranty company and fought a good fight for me but they absolutely refused to pay and wanted me to drive back to Florida and have them fix it under warranty. Okay that’s 1400 miles with a busted thermostat, that’s makes sense for a 100 part.Absolutely disgusted in Zurich but Dan dl being sympathetic to my situation waive a little of the labor cost for me as I had my brake fluid changed too. They examined my Jeep and made sure everything else was okay and had my Jeep back in 4 days. Now I can drive back to Florida and feel safe. The world and companies need more poeple like Dan working for them. He made me feel like I matter and showed he and Ziegler cared about me and my situation and went above and beyond to help me out. I will always go back here and will be our first choice when getting a new vehicle.Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dan and Ziegler!!

Worst car buying experience ever.My husband and I arrived for our appointment at 3 pm to look at a specific Jeep Rubicon that we had our eye on (sticker price $44,250). Our appointment was made with Melenie, but apparently she is an online presence only, so we were matched real-time with Tyler, a front-room sales guy. We looked over the Rubicon and took it for a test drive - everything checked out. Great. We were trading in a 2014 RAM 1500 in great shape; all of our resources (the usual: Edmunds, KBB) predicted a 14K trade-in value, of course, slightly more on the private market. We also were ready to put $5K down to reduce our financing needs. Our goal was less than $500/mo payments going forward, definitely 75 months or less.First figures offered to us (in print):$9000 for our trade-insticker price for Jeep: $44,250Umm, we'll sell the Ram 1500 on our own for 14K and come back to talk about the Jeep."No, we can make this work!"Not many specifics, but told we'd get 11K for the truck, but not more, because it "might need parts".We agreed to up our cash down payment to $6000 so we could get the monthly payments closer to the $500 we were looking at.Again, not many specifics on where we were with the trade-in, financing, etc, but we headed on to what we thought was the "financing guy", a different office space. Note, this is 3 hours later, now we're at 6 pm. We're pretty worn down.Nope, this guy's sole job was to up-sell us aftermarket detailing packages. He saw that we lived 2 hours away, so he wasn't too hard core, but still tried. On to the actual financing guy, he put 50+ pages of paperwork in front of us to sign, and early on tried to sell us yet another extended warranty (side note, would not take NO for an answer). Friendly during the sales pitch, totally shut down when we said (for the 3rd time) that we weren't interested. No more nice guy, after that, he didn't even explain what we were signing, and we were SO tired at this point! (BTW, what we were signing was the actual financing picture - the last 5 pages of the "stack")Upon review of what our final financing was (which wasn't clarified with us at the dealership):$10,500 trade-in ($3500 less than what it should have been, and the original sales guy said $11K)$6500 cash down payment (the extra $500 was a total surprise at the end)Sticker price on the Jeep went from $44,250 to $47,720 in the final numbers, not discussed with us prior to signing. In hind sight, very angry and regretting this experience. Will never give our business to any Zeigler dealership again.

Price was 6,000 more than advertised not including taxes. I was also told on the phone I would get 1000$ off the price if I made an appointment and showed up. This also did not happen. Emanuel our salesman didn't even introduce himself or talk to us at all. I drove 90 minutes for this experience. Do not waste your time here.

I left a review about a week and half ago when I purchased a 2021 grand Cherokee. I praised the dealership and my sales associate Eddie Chacone for a great job they did. The car I purchased was great but process was horrible. They advertised the car for 9300 miles and when I left the lot, there was 10,300. The price of the car that I found it at was $28,975 and when I called to confirm they assured me that it would indeed be that price. As soon we sat down to start the paperwork they tried to sell me the car for $32,457. On top of that, all they want to do is up sell you on certifications, warranty’s, and policies. We shook hands and agreed on $36,000 for everything out the door. I would put $5000 down and the loan amount would be $31,000. I found out yesterday that my loan amount was $4000 more than what I agreed. No one explained that to me, they just rush you through the paperwork, “you don’t have to read anything and just sign”. The only thing they seemed to care about was me leaving a good review…. Honestly, I already hated the process of buying a car, but after last week and yesterday, I hate it even more. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy a car from here.
