Typical 7-11, stale old coffee, restrooms need deep cleaning, overworked underpaid staff. This location is sadder than most, a dismal remnant of the once shiny atomic-age modern over the highway rest area oasis. The surrounding area now looks like war torn Ukraine, though I doubt there are any land mines. Still, wouldn't go walking around.

Coming from OHare at midnight and wanted a few things on the way to the hotel. We'll assorted typical C-Store. The beverage could have been colder and the lotto machine ate an extra dollar but the place was fine. No drama here.
