Prices are alot cheaper than local stores. I will be most of my shopping here. No taxes!!!!. Only a small surcharge. Worth the drive.

I don't get there as often as I'd like, but always worth a detour when I'm in the vincinity.

Better than any civilian grocery store I have visited. I liked the variety cleanliness and organization. People were helpful and nice. Will definitely return to shop at Scott AFB commissary in the future.

It’s like any military commissary. It gets the job done but nothing to write home about

Tremendous commissary. The staff are always nice. The place is always clean. If it weren't for their lower than average prices on red meat then I simply wouldn't be able to afford to eat any. I hope to God and all that is holy in this world that commissaries are never privatized.

More often then not the shelves are not stocked . At first they stopped carrying certain items, which you can fill out a request for. But the last few months they are carrying less and less items. The meat department seems to be keep up with ordering. They do a nice job. We visited another commissary not long ago, and was surprised at how well they were stocked and carried several items that the do not carry at Scott anymore. I mentioned it to Langley AFB cashier when checking out how pleased we were with there store in the variety of brands. I thought that all the commissary were having the same problem with inventory. Yesterday they didn't even have a can of tomato paste of any brand on the shelf.

Broken eggs dripping out of the cartons and down the shelves. Went through 8 cartons to find one where none of the eggs were broken. Shelves are often empty. Produce is left on shelves too long. Certain items need to be stocked more often, like Fairlife skim milk, which is almost always out when I go.
