About James Sports Center
James Sports Center is a normal installation gym on base, a very decent and convenient facility. It is not awful and has just about everything you need, with all the equipment someone would need, though the space is congested. The equipment is satisfactory, if not fancy and of an uncertain age. The gym floor is nice. The friendly staff does a good job keeping things well-maintained. There is a basketball court, a play area for children, and a co-ed sauna. The locker rooms and showers are relatively clean and presentable, though some shower equipment is old, rusted, or broke. It is a fantastic gym that gets the job done and is never really too busy.

Scott AFB had their annual health fair. It was nice and very informative.

It’s good gym, the problem with is that it’s outdated. The staff is great and helpful. Like is said the building is outdated, I can’t blame that on the staff. The building itself, the equipment is pretty new and the staff keeps new equipment coming in replacing the broken stuff.
