Beautiful campground with lots of picnic tables around the pond. The sites are a little small on the paved side but we fit our 36 ft motorhome, dolley and car in our sight, it was tight but it worked. The campground is super clean and well managed.

What a joke!! The spot we were put in was so uneven, it took several times of moving the RV to TRY and level it where the back tires were not off the ground, in order to do that we had to pull in so it was the front tires off the ground and we had to use so many leveling blocks on all tires!! There were severalotorhomes that had to use several blocks..They need to make the spots more level , especially in the tree line area.Worst base we have stayed at! Give it a little TLC. Also only one washer and one dryer was working...

We are so grateful for all of the FamCamps, but they are not keeping them up. All the sites hadn’t been mowed in a while. Picnic tables broken. Its just sad.

Good camp for short stays. Sites do have water and electricity, no sewer you have to blue box for long stays. No pull thrus. Some sites are small. Bath and laundry at the camp. Only two washers and dryers. If you are a walker or runner paved roads and trails are available. No playground for children . No dog park.Restrooms: Very clean and up to datePicnic area: Barbeque sites and fire pits near bathhouse.

Clean, quiet with nice amount of space between campers! This facility has about the cleanest, newest bathroom/laundry of all the bases we’ve traveled! Remember to have your camper registration/plate number in hand when you reserve a spot. You are not allowed to reserve a spot without it. Plenty of areas to walk or ride a bike too.

This FamCamp is surprisingly low quality given that it’s a major command base in a metropolitan area. The spaces are not very accommodating as far as having the typical RV camping experience. No fires allowed, no outdoor rugs allowed, no dog park, etc. Also, since there are no full hookups, it’s a good idea to use the bath house but this facility needs a major overhaul. In fact, the whole campground needs a major overhaul. It’s sad when you compare it to other bases with way better accommodations. Do better Team Scott!

The facility is nice but could be much better with simple things like allowing fires and burn pits. The noise from the airplanes is a bit much at times, if you are looking for a peaceful quiet camping experience this is not it.

Just an awesome facility and well cared for campground. The base has everything a military retired member needs. Excellent location to visit St Louis attractions. Thank you Scott Air Force base !

Hey Campers! Just passing thru April 6th and 7th 2022. Another Air Force campground sadly being run into the ground by MWR.... no hosts, some sites flooded and rutted up, no dog park area or. Not a FHU campground. On a positive note such a beautiful park like setting. ?

We are staying at the Scott Air Force Base Famcamp. It is located at Scott Lake on the base. 22 sites with water and 50 amp / 30 amp electrical service. You must have base access to utilize the outdoor recreation facilities. 30 day stay limit.

Scott AFB FamCamp is very nice. Two camps exist FamCamp 1 and FamCamp 2. We stayed in space 12 which is the last space in FamCamp 1. The camp has 30/50 amp power & water. The sewage is centralized at a dump site. Nice lake and lots of foliage. The front gate is a little hard to find but google does a decent job. As of 4 July the information is current; be aware that longer RVs will need to maneuver a little bit going through the gate. Retired military will understand my vagueness (OpSec/ForPro). Follow golfcourse rd all the way around - about 1.5 miles until you see sign for FamCamp.

It's okay. Only electric and water hook up. $22.00 a night.Shower curtains need replaced. Wife said female side also. 2 person cleaning crew, only there a short time to clean. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday everything off the grass. Those the days they cut grass. Some spots black top, some rock, sites vary in size, length and width. A few sites no room to park at your site. You are on the opposite side of base (flight line) from absolutely everything. Easy access dump site.
