Today I took the 3 hour basic pistol class, and it is an incredible value. John and Mike are very professional and safe instructors from the fundamentals all the way to the moving and firing courses. Through this I was able to see some strengths, weaknesses and skills that definitely need improvement. I highly recommend TriggerFarm and will certainly return in the future!

Took the beginner course and was very satisfied. John did a great job going through the written material and leading discussion. All of the dry run practice translated well to the range. The range was conducted very professionally. A very good experience All around.

Took the 3 hour follow class to the ccl. Very very fun, excellent instructor. He knows what he’s talking about and is extremely safe. Will definitely be coming back.

Great beginner course went over fundamentals, then right into the fun stuff. Can’t recommend it enough, I’ll definitely be back for defensive pistol 2 when it comes out.

Excellent experience, today was my first visit and will definitely visit again , instructors are very knowledgeable about firearms and firearm handling . The course of fire is very enjoyable yet still challenging!

Just finished my 16 hour CCL training today. John was phenomenal. I'm glad I did my research and signed up for Triggerfarm's CCL training before committing to the class closer to where I live because these reviews are legit. John provided great one-on-one classroom conversations and feedback as well as facilitated productive open discussions on interpreting different laws and scenarios. On the range, I felt safe, even with the new shooters around. He kept the shooting groups small to focus on safety and so that he can manage the feedback appropriately. My shooting technique needed adjustments (see target picture) and with the help from John's skills assessment, I corrected my habits and he made me into a more confident shooter and concealed weapon carrier. The takeaways from this course will stick with me for life. Very appreciative of John and his wealth of knowledge and experience, looking forward to taking more classes soon!

What a great experience. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor! John was so chill and knowledgeable. He's done 73 concealed carry classes at the time of posting and it certainly shows. The guy knows what he's talking about. You'll come out confident about the laws in IL regarding CC as well as the proper way to shoot a handgun.John doesn't cheap out either. You get an NRA certification as well as coffee and donuts! (The reason we're really here) Thanks so much! I'll be recommending this class to everyone.

John and Mike were great and the small class size offered plenty of opportunity for one-on-one instruction. The course progression and amount of shooting was just what I was looking for. Definitely got my money's worth.

John and Mike are great. Informative, patient and very safety conscious. Wife and I are novice shooters. Didn't feel out of place at all. Received personal attention from both. Had a blast. Highly recommend. Way better than the indoor range

The class and instruction will not only help you become a better shot, but will go a long way to make you more comfortable with handling your firearms while having a great time doing it! John was a great instructor; engaging, charismatic, patient and knowledgeable. My husband and I had zero experience with firearms yet at the end of our 2 day, 16 hour training course, we felt very comfortable with handling and shooting our firearms. John was patient with our instruction in the classroom and on the range. Even his assistant, Nick, was patiently encouraging us on the range. I thank them for their patience and instruction. It instilled the confidence and skills we needed to pass the course. We highly recommend TriggerFarm Firearms Training for anyone needing firearms training but especially for Newbies. You’ll be glad you did!

The instructors were very knowledgeable & made sure everyone was comfortable with the fundamentals and safety of shooting. The Basic Defensive class was a great mix of education and fun, with some competition at the end. Highly recommended to new and seasoned shooters. 10/10
