“We stayed for one night — overall, everything was good, and the breakfast was excellent. I’m giving 4 stars because I wasn’t able to connect to the Wi-Fi. A password was required, but it wasn’t provided in the room or on the key card, and the staff didn’t offer it either. The elevator and lobby were a bit dirty, although the room itself was clean. I was also disturbed by some noise from neighboring rooms during the night.”

“My wife and I stayed 3 weekend nights. The room was clean, and comfortable. The best part was the staff - everyone from the front desk, to the people at the Kickback, to the staff just walking in the hallway had a smile on their face, and were extremely willing to help. The Kickback feature was a great perk, much appreciated after a long day. As a traveler, I could tell the walls were thicker, and better insulated than most hotels. There is nothing more annoying than hallway noise after a long day. I even heard one employee politely and diplomatically, ask a guest, whose kids were running up and down the hall late at night, to respect other guests trying to rest. We will definitely be back, and recommend to others.”
“Hotel is obviously under new management. It has been remodeled. A free breakfast is now available and there is also food service in the bar area. Overall a major improvement.”

“Byrin the cook makes it a great hotel to stay. taken care of us more then once in the morning and he’s awesome, fast to get our food, always hot food and very nice in the morning, seems like he’s the only one running the show in the morning with a smile every day. The front desk staff are very nice as well and are welcoming and very friendly. The only complaint I have is the beds are stiff feels like your laying on a stiff board but the rooms are extremely clean.”
“It’s really nice to have the suite room in addition to the bedroom. This hotel is very clean and updated. The beds are most comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast buffets we’ve had. For the price, this is a bargain and excellent choice.”

“Rooms were clean, but had a wet mildew order between the bathroom & the entry door. Other than loud teens it was an ok stay. But I'm sure if the staff would've done something Abt the noise disturbance below I had to, it would've been more pleasurable...”

“Full transparency, I'm a tad bit partial to the housekeeping staff. So, aside from making it known that Melissa does a wonderful job keeping a superior standard of neatness and cleanliness throughout the various kinds of rooms here, I'd also like to voice my appreciation for Kale, the maintenence man. Though he'd already put in a full days work, plus took the time to attend to a minor issue I'd had with a sink well after sunset, when another guest had an issue with his toilet inexplicably occur, not only did he attend to it immediately but was jovial, friendly and courteous beyond fathom. Both of these individuals display the kind of work ethic that encourages repeat patronage and a general sense of faith and confidence in the service industry.
Rooms: As I knew the housekeeper personally, I can state that during their tenure, an excellence standard was strictly adhered to in every facet of their duties.
A special thanks to Mike and Ami for all their care and concern during our time there.

“Hey look! It's a hotel. The room was crunk and clean. Smelled.like a fresh can of room spray called..... Pine Blunt. Other than smelling like weed in East St. Louis it's a pretty dope spot and very affordable.”

“The lady and man at the front desk was very nice. The swimming pool was clean however it could be a little warmer. The storms made the power go off for a short second and it was kind of scary but it came right back on. I felt sorry for the lady at front desk b c all the computers was off and they would not reboot so she could sell stuff from the store or check more people in. The breakfast was good and ladies were very friendly. They need hair dryers in the rooms though and there wasn't one. The guy checking people out was nice also. The bed was very soft and cozy.”
