Helpful but a little pricey!

After the storms came through a couple weeks ago, my pool got away from me. The water was very cloudy and it was eating chlorine over night, I put 4 bags in from ace one evening, the next day there was zero, I poured 3 gallons of liquid in and the next morning there was zero. If I would have just taken a sample to these folks I could have saved $50 in chemicals that just disappeared. Come to find out, not all bags of shock are the same, look at the ingredients. They sold me three different chemicals, one was shock that they sell and gave me instructions, this morning my ph is spot on, my pool still has chlorine in it and the water is pretty clear, I still have to do some cleaning of my own now that I can see what’s going on in there but these people know what they are talking about, take a sample and get what they recommend, their pricing isn’t any different than you’ll find online either so support the local community and get your pool under control again.

Ok . Here is my story with desrochers in Shorewood store. Almost 5 yrs ago I bought a spa from them the sales lady was talking how great the spa were made and they come with a 5 yr warranty on pumps .motors. electronics etc. So we bought it . We love it and make sure water ph etc was always in range. Today I heard my pump noisy and leaking. So I went to the Shorewood store and ask them today and ask them what's the warranty on the spa. They also told me 5 yrs on pumps etc . They gave me a phone number to call for warranty in Wilmington location. I called . A lady answered the phone and got my information about when I bought my spa and it's still in warranty. Then she started asking me for records for water samples. Like they are going to deny me the warranty. She had to look into it and call me back.. couple hrs later she text me and said I only had a 2 yr warranty on pumps. And they wanted 600 for another new pump and plus installation. I don't like getting lied too. After sending people to buy spa from them.. the got my money and kick me to the curb . Here is from the spa factory site.this is the warranty on a caldera spa.
5 YEAR COMPONENT WARRANTY
Some parts, most of which can be replaced without the use of tools, (i.e. filter cartridges, filter lids, spa pillows, and cover locks) are not included in this warranty. Spa covers and other spa accessories are excluded from this warranty, although they may be covered under other warranties.

I recently bought a spa, this is our first one, and Keith and his staff have been very friendly/patient with my lack of knowledge when it comes to the chemicals and salt system. I shoot Keith emails and he is ALWAYS quick to respond. The purchase and delivery were nice and smooth.

I bought to infant floats from here Saturday afternoon and when I tryed to blow them up, both of them had holes in them!!!!! Very upset !!! Then the guy didn't give me my receipt !!! Won't shop here ever again !!!!?? Paid 36.95 for these!!

I have been dealing with DesRochers Pools in Shorewood for about 4 years. I had a new heater put in and it had an issue. I was a bit upset but the team handled the situation professionally, quickly and fixed an issue with the heater itself. I have also replaced my filter, and now having some tile work done. I will continue to give them all my business. Thank you for being a stand up business which these days seems tougher to find.
