Wish I could give 0 stars! Owner VERY unprofessional. Originally went in for a mani & pedi and My nail tech had to redo my big toe nail 3 times because she kept putting the UV LIGHT ON MY TOE. They were only white with a gel finish. The 3rd time, the owner came by and told me that my nail bed is the reason the toe wasn’t smooth ?? tried to give her a chance with my nails until she started looking confused about the design and the owner telling me that the design I wanted on my nails were not done by hand which was a lie because I’ve had the design done before, effortlessly. ended up going to 5 star nails to get my toes REDONE and a manicure.

Horrible experience I was charge 6o dollars I ask for no chip and the lady didn't do it I called them they said they did I been to other place and she didn't do it never again..

Henry uses the same dirty dusty brush on every client and you can lose your nail license from doing that which isn’t profession and unsanitary. Be nice to your clients and not yell at them and your staff and also not sit in the pedicure chair with your laptop on your lap.

I used to go to K&K for years, specifically to Helen. Helen is amazing. However, I stopped going because the owner is so unprofessional. He argues with his staff members in front of clients, sits in the pedicure chairs with his laptop, and honestly goes out of his way to make customers feel uncomfortable. Since he’s taken ownership, i saw a significant decline in cleanliness and customer service. As much as I love Helen and she does a FANTASTIC job every time, I couldn’t stand to think that I was contributing to the owner and how he runs his business. I unfortunately refuse to go back.

I came here on Monday the 20th, there was literally me and one other person in the shop. The guy asked me what I needed and I said I wanted to get a new set, he disagreed with me and said I did not need a new set that we can just do a fill-in. I knew he was wrong, because I was due to start my nails over. I've been getting my nails done for 10 years. I think he was just lazy and did not want to do it. Anyways, the entire time he was doing my nails he was on the phone talking to somebody on FaceTime. I'm sorry, but that's not really important or good Customer service especially when you have a client. I'm not saying you need to sit there and talk to me the whole time, but being on the phone literally the ENTIRE time I was there is very rude. He was very distracted. I could see the lady laying down he was speaking to. He was sloppy! I constantly had to point out mistakes on my nails. Mind you I paid for blue chrome and that was like $55. He had bumps in some of my nails, polish on the cuticles polish on the side of my fingers. I kept asking him to please clean them and he said I needed to go clean them in the sink. He was just very lazy and did such a bad job. Literally within a few days, my nails started to chip. Which should not happen because it was non-chip polish. Then by the weekend the thumb started to slowly crack. I just knew that he did a crappy job. Very unhappy and a waste of $55 and my time.

bad. I got nails done and they were crooked, already chipping, and fell off less than a 3 hours of me having them on. They were uneven and didn’t even cover my whole nail. The nails were all different lengths and very thin and had uneven color. Don’t recommend.Services: Acrylic nails

Wish I could give 0 stars, however this is the picture I had showed her and then this is what I received. I didn't even get my cuticles touched up, nails are so pointy and I paid $70... DO NOT RECOMMEND

The owners are welcoming! They adapt quickly and efficiently to make sure their clients experience are well received! Their prices are reasonable at a good cost, it’s clean and organized. Jimmy, is nicely well with customer service by ensuring his clients get a good laugh and providing good advice when it comes nails. He is very honest and polite and brought a positive attitude towards my first experience. I will definitely be back in 2 weeks for a fill-in!

K&K nail spa is located in the strip mall across from Mariano's on route 59 in beautiful Shorewood Illinois. The purpose of my mission was to go in and get a pedicure because I was wondering if my toenails were going to have to be registered as lethal weapons in the state of Illinois. Not having a FOID card, I thought it was breaking the law that's where K&K nail spa comes in! They took my unruly dagger-like nails and turned them into a piece of art. I can now walk around the Earth without cutting holes in the front of my shoes with each subsequent step. If you're In the need for a high quality pedicure or manicure at a reasonable cost, if your friends question you about the length of your toenails, if you are able to climb trees barefoot, if your nickname is "The Claw" then this is the place for you.
