We met with Ray today! He is absolutely the best!! Down to earth, friendly, very knowledgeable and not pushy at all! I would by another car from him in a heart beat! The whole thing from start to finish was a breeze!Bob the manager was great! Knowledgeable, very friendly and fun to talk to!I highly recommend this dealership!5 plus stars!!!

Very impressed with all the staff there. Everyone is very friendly, honest, and not pushy. Ray and Bob both helped me every step of the way and made the truck buying experience easy and comfortable! The truck was extremely clean, serviced, and exactly as advertised. This is the only dealership I will ever recommend anymore!!!

The service writer was not very helpful. He didn’t seem interested in my issue. My car was in for a recall repair. That was corrected without issue. I wanted them to look at my sun roof problem. A small rattle when in the vent position. I was told that they didn’t recommend opening it because it was too cold and the plastic parts might break. I’m guessing if I were going to purchase a car they wouldn’t tell me not to open the sunroof because it might break. By the way, the car has a full warranty from Ally.Wouldn’t recommend this Ford dealership for repair work.

I took my 2016 ford fusion to them in November for a jerking issue, after they checked it out I was told it was a torque converter problem as well a a failing transmission and an electrical valve problem and quoted me $7,700!!!! I nearly had a heart attack! Car showed NO issue before jerking started. Of course I decided for a second opinion. Was referred to a transmission expert and after he checked it out was told it only needed the electrical valve replaced which cost me $435. I am beyond furious that Ron Tirapelli would try to take advantage of me like this!This is the second time I am posting this review as I see they took down my first post. My advice is, always get a second opinion!!! They should be ashamed of how they tried to take advantage of the situation, $7,700 is a lot of money!!! Will never take my car there again, AND we were ready to go to them because we’re in the process of looking for a new pickup but will now look elsewhere.

My experience at this location was more than outstanding. Their customer service was out of this world helpful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately help by Abe(Abraham). As soon as I walked in he helped me in so many other ways than just my truck. He offered me a ride to work, to which I was almost late to. Over all so so friendly and reassuring. Abe made my last minute car issue a breeze. When and if I have to go back for any other issues, I will be requesting to be helped by him.

My service advisor understood my service requests. He did a great job with getting my car back to me quickly. There were plenty of appointments available to fit into my schedule.

Had vehicle in for an engine replacement.Had to return 5 times for a leak. Entire frame under engine was covered in trans fluid. Was told the first 4 times there was no leak and that they cleaned up the fluid on the frame. All four times drove it home and immediately leaking onto the driveway and frames still coated with fluid. On the 5th time they finally took it seriously and found a transmission line fitting leaking. Replaced the part but did not clean up the fluid on the frame.Very disappointing service. Would not recommend. This makes me question if the engine install was done correctly.

Services always excellent when I go there. I just wish that the official products from Ford that you choose to replace on your vehicle like the Lugnuts weren’t quite as expensive as they are. It’s hard to afford it but it’s less hassle than going and buying a different Type from auto shop and then having to find somebody who can go put that on for you or go back to the shop to have it placed on. It was more convenient for me to go ahead and take the Ford parts and get it done so I don’t have to bother other people who have no time. So I don’t have to travel from Bolingbrook back to Joliet to have that done. Everyone was professional nice they treated me absolutely perfect as a customer. That’s why I keep returning and have bought three vehicles from this dealership. Everyone there is excellent and I would continue to keep going there For all my service needs. Thank you Ron Tirapelli Ford for your commitment of customer service service to your customer. It is truly appreciated.

I, honestly, will not buy a vehicle from any other dealership other than Tirapelli. They have a wonderful team all the way around from finance, service, and sales. Whenever we have concerns, we are able to contact them and they are rectified immediately. A special shout out to Edgar in Sales and Mike in finance. You all truly care about your customers and make us want to continue to buy our vehicles from you and refer others. We feel like we are a part of the Tirapelli family!

Ron Tirapelli Ford reached out to me regarding a safety recall and how imperative it was to be taken care of. Coincidentally the recall happened prior to my appointment, and they sent a mobile technician to fix the recall at my location. I was back on the road 15 minutes later. 10/10 would recommend Ron Tirapelli Ford to anyone looking for reliable service and amazing customer service.

I think a one star review is more than this dealership deserves. I will make this post as brief as I can to save you from thinking about this dealership. I noticed all the 5 star reviews and that brought me to this dealership. My experience was not so great. I will say before I go into the negatives. The service manager was very kind and professional genuinely impressed. As for the real issues, I will list below as briefly as possible. It took over one month to service my truck, when I was promised it would be taken care of in a week. After the deadline passed, I called the dealership to inquire about the status and they told me the warranty company was taking too long. I called the warranty company and they forwarded me the email thread to show that was not true. The next delay was that they are a union shop (not a union shop) and they couldn't double book mechanics. Next issue was and the one that got me the most was "vehicles with easier problems come first, I am trying to get you back in the queue". Even if that is true, never tell someone they aren't important. Thought that was a life lesson. Last week the service manager intervened and it got completed in 1 week, just a month after that deadline was promised. In the middle of the issues, they tried to cross-sell me on a new Raptor, which was good service. Then they told me my truck had a branded title and offered me $18M. The reality was it was a lemon from California and the issue was an unfixable quiet exhaust note. Lemon does not equal branded as it was sold as a CPO from a Ford dealership. Needless to say, this is not the biggest issue I just did not sell my truck, nor buy one from them.

Brought my car in for transmission issues. I had purchased extended warranty when I bought the car. They said that there were no issues. Even though it was slipping. But managed to charge me for services. I brought it to Rod Baker Ford and said that they checked history using the same diagnostics. They are rebuilding my transmission using the warranty I purchased. Ron Terapeli has incompetent people in the Service department. Gerald Sears

I love getting my service done on my Ford ranger at Ron Tirapelli. The staff is always very nice and explain everything very well. I was also in the market for a Ford Bronco and they helped me with everything.
