“We love Lighthouse! I did not have the best experiences with traditional daycare settings with my oldest so we opted for home daycare for my younger kids. The home daycare we went to shutdown which brought us to lighthouse.

My kids feel good being dropped off, we get a lot of updates on how they are doing through out the day, and the leadership is very approachable and responsive. The curriculum is fun and educational. It feels good to drop my kids off somewhere that feels like an extension of our family and know they are being well cared for.”

“I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with this Kindercare. Our child was there for roughly 4.5 years. Julie and Merinda (the directors) were always exceptional to work with. How can I put 4.5 years of experience with them into a review? In a nutshell, it’s this…good people, hire good people. People who truly care about your child, hire people that truly care about your child! We saw that time and time again in the teachers our child had throughout her time there. Building was always clean and I personally saw them disinfecting tables and toys many times at the end of the day, which was important to me. Our daughter not only thrived academically, but socially and emotionally as well. We moved and were so sad to leave the ones who had played such a positive roll in our daughter’s life. They will be truly missed.”

“Amazing Day Care My Daughter just started attending here and they are very welcoming and send daily updates through texts to let you know how your child is doing and what they are doing. When visiting for the first time they let my daughter interact and they were very kind to engage her in everything they did.They cook all there meals there for the children in the daycare . “KLA Plainfield has been a community we didn’t know we were missing. After trying at-home care for a few months, my husband and I were pressed to find more reliable options. This was the second daycare we toured, and we were surprised at how quickly we felt at-ease. After Principal Shannon gave us a tour of the classrooms and curriculum, we knew that they were fully committed to the best experience for both parents and children.

I expected the first month to be rougher, but in truth it wasn’t. I got frequent updates of how my son was doing after drop off from Ms. Karen and Ms. Shannon, along with photos of our little guy assimilating in his new environment. I also enjoyed seeing the photos from the Vrutti app of class activities and the children playing with each other. I’d always hold my breath to see our son’s nap duration, but I was surprised at how well he was sleeping so soon.

We thought we would ease into daycare with a 3 day a week schedule, but our only regret is not going 5 days sooner! My husband and I can now work soundly knowing our child is in extremely capable hands. All the staff are very forthcoming as well if your child seems off/sick, had an accident, etc. There is a strong culture of honesty and integrity here.

So after almost 4 months, I can confidently say the staff at KLA have been a true blessing. We are not stressed about call-offs or our son being bored at home anymore with the same stations. He is so advanced at 14 months, learning how to hold pencils and playing with his friends in class. Baby Nido teachers Ms. Sayantani, Ms. Cristina, and Ms. Eva are the dream team. Leaving your kids with non-family can be difficult in any capacity, but the Baby Nido teachers are true professionals. They are confident with the kids and you can tell they really enjoy what they do.

All of this to say—you will meet some fantastic staff members here at KLA as well as great parents. Don’t struggle alone, don’t stress to be an employer on top of your full time job… just give KLA a shot and you will find yourself to be as relieved as we were ?”

“Two of my kids have went here with my youngest still attending! My daughter learned so much here before she went to kindergarten and my son has been here since he was 7 months old and at 2.5 he still enjoys going everyday. They have been great to us!”

“My kids started going here in 2016 and my youngest is now off to kindergarten. I have not had any major complaints. There was 1 teacher that I had to bring to the office and directors attention and it was dealt with in a very appropriate way. They have some very great teachers and also some that aren't as great as others but I never felt my children were ever being physically abused. I do believe they take serious complaints seriously. I don't consider my childs lost hat or jacket a serious complaint. The only thing I think could be better is the hours. Other than that I've had a very good experience with the staff.”
