I was looking for specific ingredients to make koobideh kebabs, including the 1" wide stainless steel skewers and seasoning. They had everything I was looking for, and so many other wonderful items. The reasonable prices were a surprise as well. No more searching for special shawarma spices. They had multiple options for just about any spice, at better prices than anywhere I found. Delicious sweet treats, fresh bakery items and lots of economical bulk options. We will be back!

A great place to shop for fresh and delicious middle eastern food at great prices !! Great prices and great people who work there. Ashtar food market has been remodeled and it looks great now. I love shopping at this place, from the food to the prices and the quality of their food. Also the people are just great and welcoming. It is just a great place to shop at!!

They also have a good deli section. Not great for boxed foods-- but never miss a chance to look at fresh ingredients here

I was super nostalgic when I waked in here. Totally reminds me of the small stores in the Middle East. It even smells like it (in a good way, of course!) I found everything I was looking for and was impressed with the selection. The workers were very friendly. Looking forward to coming here more.
