I would of rated a 0, if it were an option.This all began Aug 18, 2023. Just to be clear, this NOT a regular Dentist. These people are like car salesmen, buttering you up with fancy tests, talking to a Hygienist and the doctor (Dr Sharma is the owner of the Park Ridge, IL location & Roscoe Village location in Chicago, IL), all smiles and niceties. And then you're handed over to the Office Manager. This is where they discuss a "Treatment Plan", which = how much they can SELL YOU. If you're short on cash, they can quickly run you through their partners credit (Care Credit gives a percentage of the total charges (" a commission")of services and supplies needed "commission" of sorts directly to the Company of Aspen Dental) to see the maximum amount of credit to use for these "Up-sized Purchases". They told me I was approved for $11,000! I stated I'm on a fixed income. And just because I was approved for that insane amount does not in any way mean I will use it. Of course, it isn't mentioned yet, the 29.99% APR?.I had just had a kidney stone, and had a stent placed in my ureter 2 months prior. Painful, uncomfortable and urgency. At this point, I left my teen daughter, and excused myself to use the restroom. At that point, the gave my daughter a folder with The Plan, and several detailed pages of each charge.Never mentioning this to me before or after I went to the restroom. It wasn't until the following day, I went to read through their folder, I found these pages. I was feeling duped. For example, there was a charge for an electronic toothbrush for $135. You can get a good quality one on Amaz*n for around $39.99. I didn't like feeling that they were being sneaky. After the initial appointment, they aren't as "caring", so to speak.Mar 30, 2024《UPDATE:》Right off the bat, I have to m SINCE I RECEIVED MY PARTIALS (ABOUT NOVEMBER 2023), I TRY TO WEAR THEM (IT HURTS, NOT UNCOMFORTABLE) AND AFTER 3-4 HOURS THE PAIN IS ? UNBEARABLE AND I HAVE TO REMOVE THEM.IVE HAD A COUPLE ADJUSTMENTS AND STILL TERRIBLE PAIN. As I healed up from 2 teeth pulled in August 2023, I started feeling something sharp on one side. When I went in the office the doctor said it was just a bone spur sticking up. She agreed that would of been painful trying to wear my partials on that. She proceeded to numb the area, and clipped it a couple of times. Then she showed me the boney piece.She said to wait about a week, for that area to calm down before wearing the partials again. I waited a little over a week to be sure. And STILL so painful. I haven't been able to wear them still, it's March 30, 2024. I'm so frustrated. Not only did I just need a tooth pulled for relief. But I walked out with a with a $4692.00 bill on Credit Care, Synchrony Bank at a 29.99% APR. I took the option of 18 months interest free, to be able to pay the balance in full. Or, the deferred interest will be charged on my balance.I ONLY NEEDED 2 TEETH PULLED, EXPECTING TO PAY UNDER $1000. THIS PLACE HAS BEEN SUED IN OTHER STATES FOR THEIR DECEIPTIVE PRACTICES. DO YOUR RESEARCH. I USUALLY DO, I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN, I WAS GLAD TO GET IN ON A SATURDAY MORNING.

Everyone at Aspen Dental was friendly patient and thorough when explaining my treatment plan.Barb was lovely ? I also really liked Dr. Mena. She was very thorough and very sweet. I like this Aspen Dental place.

Just great place and the amosphere was very pleasant, Barb the assistant was so wonderful and patient as well as Dr. Mithila Sharma and the Office Manager so patient and understanding of my financial situation helped me. Thank you all so much!!!

The doctor was very informative and worked to make sure I understood every part of what she was doing.The hygienist was also very informative and explained every step.Pricing was decent especially for the work I had to complete.The office manager is personable and makes sure to work within your budget.All the staff members are friendly but professional

Aspen Dental is up to date with all the latest technology! It is impressive, and in turn, assists the doctor to determine the best plan for each individuals’qq needs.As for the doctor and the staff…extraordinary!! They are thorough, friendly and comforting.I am glad I chose the Skokie office to help me get my teeth back to normalcy!Thank you everyone at Aspen Dental/Skokie!!

I had an emergency procedure. The entire office was involved. I was called and they told me that they could see me. This call came 30 minutes after my initial call. Reception was waiting for my arrival and efficiently processed me. Dr. Mena was excellent. She explained the necessary procedure and took care of me. I feel fortunate that she is my dentist.
