My phone died a quick death two days ago so that not one piece of information could be retrieved from it. I went to AT&T across from Old Orchard to switch after first trying my current carrier.
Enter Halima. I noticed she was young when she approached and I admit that I wondered if she could handle my complicated situation — problematic PIN numbers, a weird setup of the T-Mobile account, my daughter’s phone on the account and coordination of us both there together to switch.
Halima quickly figured out the best plan for us that was less expensive and better than T-Mobile’s and included a free new iPhone for each of us. She executed every bit of tech flawlessly.
Skill and patience are a perfect combination in the phone business, including counsel on colors, and best extras for a protected phone and what was unnecessary. And though outside her designated job — this is a phone store — she discussed my AT&T internet/tv bill when I grumbled about it, told me how to reduce it, and saved that deal.
I felt silly to have made assumptions about her age. Halima was great — customer focused and a real pro.
