Bring a book or your knitting! I’ve been waiting an HOUR for my friend to take care of a simple transaction! They only have one teller and one banker. And she’s STILL waiting!

i'll keep this simple - DO NOT BANK HERE. We wanted to open a basic checking account. The personal banker had a very authoratative tone with me, saying he would stop the process if my SSN didn't work without a card. Refused to start the process until my husband came in from the parking lot. Asked unnecessary questions regarding our home loan and other bank we use. An HOUR later, the account was still not open due to "system issues". We asked he call us before 5p to confirm if the account was opened or not. 3 days later he called to say the account was almost ready but we needed to return and resign for the account. Needless to say, i asked him to shred all documents and close out the account. We took our banking elsewhere. Another bank took 10min to open an account.

Can highly recommend the Evanston location. First they were the only location of three called that answered at the location rather than letting the call go to central answering. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and took the time necessary to handle a difficult issue.

If you have an infinite amount of time and an endless amount of patience you won't mind coming to this location and be given unprofessional service, incorrect information, and amateur bankers. The tellers are great though. They're all very sweet and do their jobs just fine. Need a roll of quarters or make a large deposit? Come on in. Have more pressing matters and need a banker? Go somewhere else.

Vicente Partida is my new favorite banker and soon to be best friend. You need to maintain a good relationship with your personal banker. I'm happy to find one that I really trust. Citi bank is willing to work with me for all my financial needs.

This Citibank Location is worst bank I never have, I would not recommend anyone to this branch. To get a wire transfer had been waiting for at least hour. Waiting and waiting. Only one banker for this location, I have no complaints for tellers and they are nice, but to get Haley from banks. Wish you luck

Its 9:48 AM. 12mins before they open, so i decided to use ATM to make my payment. Machine made a loud noises and took abt a mins or so. Then without any other info, it printed out a paper and it said, IM SORRY BECAUSE OF TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, I CANT RETURN YOUR CASH RIGHT NOW. TAKE THIS RECORD... blah blah. I tried to get ppls attention inside of the bank, They see me, without asking or apologize, they said WE ARE CLOSED TILL 10. Ok? .. um ok?? This machine just took my money, and all of you guys inside are talking and laughing, and cant come out and ask whats wrong? Or even try to see whats up?? RUDE. Im already mad enough to see this machine took my money and not spitting it out and on top of it, you guys just make me wait for another 10mins to even take a look at the problem this machine made. RUDE. Not only i was late to work, they weren't friendly enough to even help me. And since it was a credit card payment, THEY CANT HELP ME UNLESS I SIT DOWN WITH THEM AND CALL THE CITIBANK COMPANY HEADQUARTERS or something. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THANKS CITI BANK.

What a sad situation. When this bank was in the Westmoreland building, they were a delight. Now, there is no better example of incompetence. My entire family banks here, but after 30 years of being an account holder, I am leaving. After I incorporated my private practice, I was excited to open a business account. Representative Kasia Krol mishandled every step of the way. She lied about 2 errors she had made, blaming their outside office, and was ridiculously unresponsive, leaving my account unable to function and the financial aspects of my business in limbo. Kasia and Gerald, the manager, received messages from another branch manager on my behalf asking them to respond and they were unresponsive for several days. Unbelievable. I implore you, the reader, to go elsewhere.

Just got my new AAdvantage Citi Card in the mail. Bad enough they forced the switch from Visa to MC, but the card arrived without the card number or expiration date embossed on the front. I had planned to ask if this was an error when i called to activate the card, but no phone number for that either. Only option was to activate online without a human. I eventually got through by calling the sales area and was told that's what all A/A's new cards look like. (Guess it saves them a couple cents in printing costs.) But the worst is it prevents you from using the card to shop online - unless you've memorized you card number and expiration date. Not sure what they were thinking, but I'm thinking I'm not going to bother activating this new card if I can't use it to even book flights online. I like to hear other's opinions on this.

Citi Bank treats everyone like they launder money... Sad institution when you can make a deposit into a fortune 500 company's account without giving all your personal information. Seriously.... I run a retail store and you treat me like I am some high class criminal. No other bank does this... just Citi Bank. When I asked to speak to the manager about the policy I was told they were on a conference call... how convenient...
