The experience moving was fine, but the customer service agent wasn't very helpful. I also think y'all should have later hours at your store offices. There should also be direct calls to each site.

The team at CubeSmart in Skokie were incredibly helpful and friendly. The climate controlled unit we rented was clean and easily accessible and I was in and out with all paperwork complete and keys in my hand very quickly. Best customer experience I have had in a long time.

Jeff is a nice guy, kind of shy and a little abrasive at times but it’s all part of his sense of humor. He was very helpful in explaining details of the lease and the storage unit itself. The units are solid, nothing to complain about. One thing though - there is a $20 fee for the lock to your unit, which didn’t show up anywhere for me when I reserved it online. Jeff said it would have if I went to sign the lease online, but many people (myself included) won’t do that, so it is misleading. The charge appeared for the first time on the payment screen as I put my card in. (I told Jeff that this was misleading and he eventually waived it, credit to him.) Same with this $16 protection fee… I didn’t see it anywhere online until the payment screen, and I was told that that’s non-negotiable. Would’ve appreciated if these fees had been disclosed upfront when I reserved the unit. Otherwise, working with CubeSmart has been a good experience!

CubeSmart is a clean well lit and safe complex. Jeff who help me find the right size unit for a great price is amazing. He took time to show us different units and answered all my questions. I highly recommend going to see Jeff at CubeSmart…..
