“The owner is the best! I forgot to collect my cash back from one of the cashiers. He chased me out in the parking lot to give me the money and receipt. He was so positive and thanked me over and over for shopping at his store.
I greatly appreciate hard working people who appreciate their customers. It may just be the dollar store but the owner will make you feel like family. Thank you!”

“Great store, very clean and has the best deals!! Great selection of items too, easily the best in the area. Also, the cashiers at the front had superb customer service - I believe their names were Jay and Pete. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area!!!”

“I was impressed with this Dollar Tree because the store was very clean and orderly. Although there were some empty shelves, most shelves were stocked and items were neatly displayed. There were no boxes in the aisles like most Dollar Tree stores I have visited. Their staff were very polite and helpful including the cashier. There was a large parking lot with plenty of parking including parking spaces with people with Disabilities. I would highly recommending visiting this store.”
“This place is the best store I ever Been to. They are so friendly they treat you like family. Every time I come to this store it makes my day. He has the best clothes and at the best prices. He sells Islamic decorations at the best prices. The Islamic decoration we bought where only 14.00 witch is very cheap for the quality. Usually at other stores it’s like 999% increase for the items he sells. This store is also the cheapest store that I ever been to.”

“Review written 1/17/2026. There was only one register open with long lines. Also a lot of the prices on items in this store seemed higher than other dollar trees, even with the recent increases across all dollar trees.
But overall, great selection
Also I recommend bringing a bag otherwise you will have to pay the city of chicago bag fee and bag tax”

“I went to this store and was amazed at how clean, organized and well merchandised the store is. Yeah, if you know, you know, most Family Dollars are a hot mess BUT not this one. While in there shopping, I heard customers being checked out inform the cashier that they too were impressed. When I got to the register I said it too. It just so happen to be the store manger that was cashiering. I can tell it meant a lot to hear this from the customers. She told me she is the store manager and has been at that location for 3 years. She didn't want her location to be what we have come to expect of a Family Dollar. I mean, merchandising and organization was never on my expectations when I walked into them but it is what I found at this location. I hope she recognized. She seemed to be the only employee working. Well done. Keep up the good work and thank you for raising YOUR bar.

“I come to this Dollar Tree regularly, 4, 5 times a week. Starting to remodeling this faculty. Removing the self check out, & new flooring. The store always fully stocked, Ordering regularly to replenish the out of stock items. Employees & Management very courteous, even greeting guest when entering the store, walk distance from & to the Blue Line E station.”
“This store is NCO, neat, clean and organized. Parking is across the street is a plus for me. Also, not in Chicago… they do not charge you for plastic bags. ?”
“Pretty good spot to browse for your needs. Sometimes there are surprising finds such as large Tetra brand doughnut shaped airstones for my fish. Good spices, kitchen gadgets, cleaning supplies and food storage options. Worth a shot for a lot of things.”

Workers are so rude when you'll point out the obvious. If you see the line reaching an isle then ask another cashier to open. The manager saw the line and just kepted walking. When I pointed out the obvious, the cashier became rude saying she's not the owner but only works there. Unprofessional and provided the worst customer service, and the young manager agreed with her. I'm putting a formal complaint, this is ridiculous. Lack of professionalism, they don't even value their jobs. Horrible service.”

“Pretty average dollar tree, my biggest complaint would be how often there is stocking carts simply left out and blocking paths. Outside of that I have had no problem with any staff and the facility stays relatively clean.”
“This is the BEST Dollar Tree not based on the selection of products even though they have a decent assortment but the staff here is OUT OF THIS WORLD AWESOME! I would like to personally call out Vik, who is so kind and always go above and beyond, Habib who is has excellent customer service skills and is pure comedy he has a great sense of humor and the very sweet Hispanic woman who goes out of her way every time you walk into this location. “They've really stepped their game up a lot recently. A lot of options. Plus it seems they've also been expanding into the smoke shop type business. Has all your basic needs, friendly cashiers, lotto machines, sundries, snacks, vape pens ...etc ? A really neat spot to check out in the neighborhood”
“Why was the store's license suspended???I found out that the health department found rat droppings, roch infestation and expired food products. What a shame, I wonder if they are ever going to reopen??I went to the store on Diversey and it was filthy. I won't be surprised if that location is closed next.”
“I come here regularly for house cleaning and hygiene products. The store is generally clean. Products well stocked but I suggest going early in the month because deliveries here aren’t made regularly. Food staples hit or miss. My only grape is there is almost always a long line to check out. Otherwise I like this Dollar Tree”
“Not all Dollar Trees are created equally. The one on Harlem surpassed my regular neighborhood store by miles. This store had SO much more stock. It was clean and organized. There was an associate in one of the aisles that was able to answer a couple of questions for me. It is obviously a popular store as there was only one cart available when we got there. Great Halloween decor. And I scored a great pair of black leggings there as well as all of the things on my list.”

“Compared to other local Dollar Trees, within the area, this one is the one to go to. They have a self check out area, so you won't have to wait for cashiers like the other locations.
This location is very well clean & organized & the shelves are stocked. A welcoming atmosphere!
Overall I am happy to co.e a further distance for a better Dollar tree.”
