Brought my car in. Told them what was wrong. They couldn’t fix it. Still charged me a diagnostic fee even though I had just had it diagnosed at another Firestone location a month ago but couldn’t afford all the recommendations. Be better.

I have patronized this Firestone for over a decade. I used always get good service here. Something has definitely changed. I found the advisor, friendly but incompetent. And very hard to understand. They over torqued all of the lug nuts on my wheels. And they used a pneumatic drill to apply the wheel locks and ruined them. It is common knowledge that you don’t use a pneumatic drill for wheel locks. And it is clearly marked on the packaging to not use pneumatic drills. It just doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing. They ruined a set of factory wheel locks. I had to replace them. I would definitely not go back.

I just brought my Hertz fleet vehicle there for brakes on 2/3/25 and dealt with Israel. I waited from 7 am to 4 pm only to be be told that the wrong brake pads arrived and they were incorrect. Then the correct pads arrived and they had the car ready by 5:30 pm. I started working at 6:30 pm the next day only to find out that the front brakes and rotors were improperly installed and my work vehicle sounds like the CTA Red line train. I have to return the vehicle to Hertz and will lose another day of work. I'm certain Hertz will NOT be paying for the crappy brake job either.
Unprofessional, poor communication, unskilled labor didn't even bother to test drive vehicle.

Walked in on Jan 16th to find out why my check engine light was on and to inspect/replace a tire. I was told I would have to pay $111 for a diagnostic to see why my light was on (found out later that's not necessary) and the wait for a tire replacement could take up to 2.5 hrs. I declined the diagnostic (luckily) but asked for a quote to have my tire inspected. I was verbally quoted $45 to which | agreed. I then asked if they had a new tire in stock because I wanted to have my tire replaced. I was told they had a tire in stock and to sign electronically. I asked what I would be signing and was told to confirm my email. I confirmed it! I was asked again to sign. I asked again what was I signing. I was then told I was signing my quote. I stated that I wasn't given a price for the new tire.
Israel ignored me and then asked if I was going to sign. I told him I wouldn't because I hadn't been allowed to read the quote (as was displayed on the signature screen). After an awkward silence and Israel refusing to make eye contact with me, l asked him if he would allow me to read the quote first. He took a deep breath (like | was aggravating him), and I thanked him and told him that l'd changed my mind and left the store. I wrote this to say, LADIES BEWARE!!!!!! Never sign for a quote that you haven't looked at. Also read everything before signing. A common tactic/hustle used against women is quoting them higher than necessary and definitely higher than what men are quoted. If we sign before reading the quote, we can be charged a lot more than the actual price. BE SMART!!!! And, especially watch out for men like israel. They aren’t nice guys!!!!!!!!

I came in for an oil change in the morning at 8 am. I was recommended a bunch of things I need to replace such as my brakes and filters, which I agreed to because I’m already here. I ended up waiting for 4.5 hours (and counting because I’m still here) and it is still not done. Now I’m missing a wedding I have to be at and I had to cancel two appointments already on top of that.

Miserable experience, a guy called Elijah was so rude and they didn’t even do the required service(alignment) absolutely ridiculous experience and I will never come back to this store,
Elijah is the worst employee I have ever seen in my life, they kept me waiting for 6 hours and then came up with fake reasons for not being able to do the aligned and he said”you can take your car somewhere else if you don like it here”
Absolutely NO NO!

With the winter weather, my tire pressure had been low for some time, so I called to see if Firestone could fill them up for me. The man I spoke with on the phone said absolutely, and when I asked how much it would cost, he said he would do it for free! When I arrived, Josh filled up my tires, and I was on my merry way. I've had bad experiences at service centers, so I wasn't expecting much from a chain, but everyone (especially Josh) was super kind and helpful...so much so that I double-checked that they didn't want to charge me for the service, and they assured me it was okay. THANKS, FIRESTONE <3
