I've been a member for a very long time. They have always been friendly and helpful. Their rates are always very competitive. They are a superior option to a big corporate bank.

Feeling sorry to write this after securing 2 times car loan and being a member since 2012. Recently tried to call them up several times for loan and no one replied. Send me mails to previous business contact with no success. Online application did a hard inquiry and since then no replies and no one took the case further. Got a loan easily from another credit union for 4.9 apr so u can guess I have a good credit score for sure and nothing wrong from my side.

Impossible to get a hold of and when you finally do, this place has the most unknowledgeable customer service staff. I would not recommend putting your money in a place you cannot retrieve it from.

After having a savings account here for 25 years I've been now trying to finance a new vehicle. After a Wednesday conversation with James (supposedly loan manager) he mentioned it was too late in the day to do a loan application (3:00P.M.) And that he would call me back the following day. NOTHING! Called Friday to find out ,well, anything and was told James was in a meeting. Someone was going to reach out to me. Monday night, NOTHING! Looks like they're the best in the business at.....NOTHING.

FFCU disabled my password because I had not accessed my account online according to their timeline. Forget about calling: I have spent an hour on hold (both branch numbers) as well as time wasted on a chat line. I was looking for any information about a fraudulent charge. So much for FFCU's concern about "security" which is the reason given for disabling my password! I am once again on hold while I type this...

Aside from there being only two locations on the northwest side, I don't see why more people don't use FFCU. Their interest rates beat my old bank's rates. I get free account alerts, no fee checking and great CD rates, too. When we bought a used car, the cashier not only handled the money order, she read the title paperwork to double check everything was filled out correctly. They provide good services. Coin counting machine is free to members. There's plenty of parking and many other local businesses around to make a trip here worth your while.

THIS CREDIT UNION IS NOT "slowly going down the drain" IT'S ALREADY GONE. I refinanced two cars and obtained a loan. I paid each one ON TIME and NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT. I applied for another loan after completely paying for the last one. A week went by and no call, no email. I called after a week and a half to get a status and they said they would call me. NO CALL. I emailed James who works in the Loans Department and he finally told me that my application was denied automatically by the system and that he was going to look at it. Another week went by and NO CALL, NO EMAIL. I emailed James and he almost immediately told me that there's nothing he can do. WHAT A JOKE. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR MEMBERS AND NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
