I just had a really unpleasant experience shopping st this particular Macy's. I had an hour to browse between appointments. A very rude and overbearing saleswoman kept rushing me. I finally allowed her to check me out since she decided she didn't want me to browse. I did not have my Macy's card with me and asked if O could pay using the app. She said yes, but she didn't know how to use it and told me to use Apple pay. I told her I didn't have Apple pay so she asked for my ID. She couldn't pull up my card using my ID. I explained it was under my husband's ss and I am an authorized user. She insisted my card must have expired even though it is clear I just used it. She then told me I had to use another card, too bad, and I will not get star rewards. She made the whole shopping experience unpleasant.

Recently I was at your store to exchange a jacket because the buckle on the hood had popped in less than a month. The first clerk assisted by explaining that I'll need to take the jacket with me while I shop for the other item. I returned back to the line and was assisted by Juliet. She had a very unpleasant demeanor and her approach was nonchalant, as if she really didn't want to help me to begin with. She was extremely combative and went back and forth with me over the exchange, until finally refunding the money to my card. Then she rang me up for the new item. Afterwards she explained that she'll have to ring the item as current store price, but clearly the entire coat department was still on sale. I became very upset and requested my original coat back. Later that day, I went online to check the prices. Of course the coat was still on sale. Needless to say, I'm stuck with a coat that is distorted and unraveling by the hood. I'm shocked and ashamed by Macy's behavior and response to my issue. Especially with them being a high end store. They definitely didn't perform at the caliber in which they're listed as. I gave the rating a one, only because a zero wasn't available. I WILL NOT EVER shoo at Macy's again, especially the Old Orchard location. I'll forward the word to everyone I know about the undertoned racism that I experienced.

Today I was in the store shopping for a suit. I needed help and Yuliya from the men's department was extremely kind and helpful. She was very professional and took the time to take my measurements and to try to fit me with the best options available. I would highly recommend going to her if you are in need of men's attire.

Not enough associates to man the check out stations. Had to walk from one end of the store to the other to find one open. Better selection of merchandise this trip.

Macys ,Skokie IL store has gone downhil. The return dept. is awfu. you could be the only customer waiting and they will finish their conversation before even acknowledging you. I've attempted to return items, I print out the online order with the account number, and the item number, including a picture of the item, and I pull up my account on my phone, and I've gotten the same answer three different times from them," I can't find this item". Are you kidding me. You sell it! it's ridiculous, an answer because they don't know what they are doing. The clerk once withheld a $10 credit last year. Check your receipt! Macy closed the wrong store in this area of IL!

Ofelia was the rudest associates in the world. She was just sitting in the fitting room waiting area on speaker phone on her lunch and when we asked for help she screamed at my grandma and I that she was on lunch and to find another associate. Will never shop at this location again. Unacceptable

I purchases 2 pair of women shoes for a Christmas present in November on sale spending $120.00. The shoes were the right size however they are not fitted shoes when you walk in them they flop off the rear heel of the shoe. I asked to return them and credit my charge account they refuse and said it was passed the 30 days policy. I just don't think it is fair the shoes were a gift. Regardless they were never worn still in the same package. I just toss 2 pair of brand new shoes in the trash. That are defected merchandise that Macy's selling. It is not fair to the consumers.
