The staff here is so friendly. The supervisor (manager?) is awful. I wanted to purchase an item on the wall that was blocked by a magnet lock. I asked him for help, he told me he would call a staff member to help me... then walked away. He passed me two more times, before a really sweet lady came from the back of the store to unlock it.
It would have taken 0.01 seconds for him to unlock that, but he passed me multiple times and called someone from across the store.
So, five stars for that lady, and negive five for the supervisor.

I’ve had multiple poor experiences here. First time, I tried to exchange some yarn that was unworkable because it came knotted up when I attempted to rewind. The supervisor refused to let me exchange it and was incredibly rude.
Ended up calling customer service and going to a different store to exchange.
Just returned an order and stood behind a customer returning about 50 fake flowers. I asked the cashier if he could get another employee to process my return. He ignored me. In that time an associate came and helped a lady use self checkout, completely ignoring me and asking if I could be helped. I asked again and the associate completely ignored me. Didn’t even apologize for my wait when he processed my refund.
Horrible customer service here. What a miserable shopping experience.

Probably one of the most disgusting public bathrooms I've been in in a while. Some of the surface says don't even appear to have ever been washed. The toilets themselves are gross. The hand dryer was gross. He did not even wish to touch the door knob to get out of the bathroom. Fortunately didn't need assistance finding what we needed, which is great because there were no associates actually on the floor. There were two back by the frames and one up by the checkouts not another employee in sight.

Staff helped me find just the right frame for my print. The went beyond the call to make sure my frame was the right fit and style to compliment my artwork

Everytime I come to this specific location, there’s never a worker in sight. I’m stuck having to walk around the entire store several times before I give up and go to the cashier who gets agitated because they aren’t supposed to leave the cash register. Also- be aware because sometimes their selection online isn’t what they have in store even though that’s what they claim.

I found gold and silver letters I thought we're cool but $20 a piece for the gold and $10 a piece for the silver? Take a picture instead it's cheaper...

I recently stopped on this store to purchase an item I had found through Google and said was available at this location for in-store pickup. I totally understand that internet pages are not always up to date when it comes to actual in-store inventory. I would never blame a store employee for that in any way.
My issue is that when I entered the store and asked the person in front if they had any of the item I wanted to purchase in stock and where in the store I might find it, she curtly replied that they don’t carry anything like that in the store. I asked if she was sure since it said online that it was at least a product that is sold in store (again, even if they didn’t have any in stock) and she looked at me with the most disgusted look and said super slowly and mockingly, “Yeah, I, am, suuure.” I was taken aback by her tone. It felt hostile and condescending—the lack of professionalism, interest in helping me, and basic social respect.
Instead of leaving, I walked into the store and looked for the section I thought it might be if they did have it in stock. Not only was it carried in stores but they had three in stock.
When I returned to pay for the item at the checkout and let her know that they do sell the item in store and they had multiple, she snapped at me that “we haven’t had it in stock, which is why I said that.” There was no interest in learning wheee the item was located. There was no effort to apologize or even at least just recognize that she’s glad that I found what I was looking for. Instead, she essentially ignored me while another younger associate who had witnessed the whole thing rang me up sheepishly and silently in her presence.
This was not in any way something that caused me hurt or pain. Nothing major or that needs to be blown out of proportion. I will continue frequenting Michael’s locations and doing business with them. But it certainly won’t be at this specific store again.
