was shopping for a wedding dress on two different occasions; first with my mom and a friend and the second time on my own to see some alternatives to the dress I had bought the first visit. On the second visit staff ignored me/ kept banging on the door that they had given me while I was trying on dresses (without assistance from any staff) and just seemed to profile me as trying to do some theft or something. It made me feel bad about the dress I had originally bought and shame. I hate when 'high end' stores like Nordstroms disrespect customers like this

I was very disappointed at the menās cologne department associate very mean an unprofessional I purchase menās fragrance all the time which I send
To Europe, and sometimes I return items with receipt and exchange them for another fragrance. The associate there in that department I came in again to purchase a fragrance and the associate indicated to me that she will not sell me any fragrance anymore because I return too many times I indicated to her every time that I returned an item the item is not open and I have the receipt and I am within the buyers remorse. I donāt mind paying a premium at Nordstrom as the store is always clean and seems to be well-managed, and Iāve typically had helpful salespeople when Iām looking for something specific. My most recent visit, I came directly from work in athletic clothing and was completely ignored by every employee I encountered in the store. This has never happened to me before, as usually Iām with a friend or put together a bit more. Is it store policy to give zero customer service to people who look like theyāre not going to spend as much money, but have every intention of doing so? To clarify, the employees I encountered were not necessarily doing anything specific that required their attention. There were 2-3 in the juniors department laughing and talking loudly about how they read google reviews based on their customer service and try to identify the customers accordingly. Seems like an inappropriate conversation to have on the floor in front of customersā¦maybe the reviews they were concerned with would be more positive if they actually providedā¦customer service? If this had been my first time at the store it would be a 1-star review, and I likely wouldnāt return.

They have a very large selection, and you are likely to find something. It might be on the pricier side.

Way way way overpriced. Menās short sleeve shirts run between 100 and 300 and they had ties that ran between 100 and 400.. if I made $1 million a year I would not shop at the store. Their fashion isnāt that great you would do much better shopping at a Goodwill if you wanted to be fashion cool

I had just stopped in the Nordstrom at Old Orchard to pick up a bag iāve been wanting. i picked up the bag and was walking around looking at other products when Denise from the bag section rudely approached me stating āi can check you out right hereā while gesturing me over in an aggressive manner. which gave me the feeling she thought i was going to steal?? then while checking me out she continued to be rude basically ignoring me to help another customer. i believe this was an act of classism as i was not dressed head to toe in designer, but im sure if i was she would have been much kinder.

I really love this location, I live so close and love the whole mall. But for as much money as I spend here every year, you would think they would return some toddler shorts for me without a tag. Who takes clothes home for their 3 year old and waits for him to ātry them onā before taking tags off? I sure donāt. I never intend to return kids clothing and this one time, the shorts fit my sonās body way too snug as we had just come out of winter and hadnāt bought shorts yet for the season for him. The manager in the kids department told me itās the āpolicyā to only do returns for tags on. While I fully get that people out there and wear things and return them after use, when bought just weeks ago, and itās a toddler, I think itās fair to at least give store credit. I even tried to just say okay let me donate them back and they wouldnāt take them. To me, it makes no business sense to not eat up this cost for customers that spend so much money at your store. This brought me to a decision to never shop for my kidsā clothing at this store.
