Customer service is still alive! I just had the best service from Marco during my curbside pickup! I had two separate orders, and he went above and beyond to check on the status of my second order! He is a true example of five star customer service!

Let me start with this disclaimer: I'm an employee of this company, so my views may be interpreted as biased. However, I'm a straight shooter when it comes to giving my opinion on customer service because, who better to give an opinion than someone who is also in the business? So, here we go...I purchased what I thought would be a great pair of Levi's from my home store--Nordstrom Rack--on clearance. When I got home and tried them on, the fit wasn't good. I found a duplicate pair on Nordstrom's website, but had difficulty applying my employee discount during checkout. Since I was already going to be in the area for "Titanic: The Exhibition," (an event with old and new artifacts discovered from the fateful shipwreck of 1912) I went in Nordstrom Old Orchard for assistance.If you've never experienced top-notch service from a company that not only cares about its customers, but also its employees, I recommend giving Nordstrom a try. The Service Rep who assisted me from the Women's Department--Sandra G--was incredible! Yes, my transaction took a little longer than I expected, but that was only because she was just as unfamiliar with how to apply my discount to the online order as I was. I'll admit that I was nervous about whether or not we'd complete my purchase in a timely fashion, as the item I wanted was the last one on the website, and NOT available in stores within a 100 mile radius. Sandra was incredibly patient and eased my worries by getting a more senior member of the department to aid her with the transaction. She and I both learned what to do in the future, so MISSION ACCOMPLISHED ?

Although they did not have Angel Body Cream the sales associate was very accommodating. She ordered the cream at no extra charge. It should be delivered to my Mother's home within the next few days.

I was greeted with a sales lady name Emma at the shoes department. She was helping us but, she asked me a weird- inappropriate question. The question was, how long I have been living here in America? I wasn’t prepared for the question. She said she’s working at immigration office downtown. We were there looking for shoes. Maybe because She thinks I’m illegal immigrants. Or because I look Asian? And I like Nordstrom.

I've always liked their product's value, the quality that you get for the price you pay. They have an excellent selection of good quality items. Parking can be a little bit troublesome.Last year, I purchased a necklace for my wife that Christmas. It broke about two months ago, so I called them up to see whatmy option's were. I dropped it off at Nordstrom, and they sent it to the manufacturer who sent it back saying they were unable to fix it or replace it with a new one. Nordstrom gave me a store credit so that last Sunday, my wife was able to pick up out a replacement necklace.

Nordstrom remains a standout for its excellent selection of high-quality items. However, a noticeable decline in staffing levels has led to longer wait times for customer assistance, sometimes up to 20 minutes. That said, once you do manage to connect with a staff member, the service is impeccable—helpful, resourceful, and highly knowledgeable. The issue isn’t the quality of service but rather the availability of staff to provide it.
