This is my go to place for beer in the Skokie area. They have a wide selection along with spirits, wine, cheese and other snacks.
The staff is extremely friendly and if there's a specific beer/spirit you're looking for, they can pre-order it for you.

The staff is super friendly and prompt to help. Sergio, Sue, Luis and the manager made our experience superb!
And we always meet fun people among the crowd.

First time there. Very cute wine shop. Love the little add ons surrounding wine. I literally put a bday gift bag together by grabbing little things. So CUTE!!
Great service!!
They even have a meat/cheese bar kinda section. I have to go back & take some pics.

Amazing selection despite the limited shelf space, they put any big box and most larger liquor stores to shame with the variety and availability of some hard to get releases of beer, scotch and bourbon. And their main area of expertise is wine. They have some great knowledgeable staff.

Visited on a Saturday when they have several wines for tasting. Ok wines not to my palate. Perused their collection and found quite a few reasonably priced wines that have good taste descriptions. Bought a few reds and whites and they were good and as described.

Schaefer's provided wine for our June wedding at the Grove Redfield Estate. From start to finish, their customer service was impeccable!! I visited on a Thursday afternoon, and Schaefer's had full onsite staff (a sommelier, an event planner, even a food pairings expert) who helped me pick out wines. The sommelier even opened a couple bottles for a free tasting since it was a large order. Schaefer's delivered the wine to our wedding venue and picked up a few unopened bottles after the event for a refund. Highly recommend for events and we'll definitely be back!!
