I had a full face make-up appointment for my wedding day. Made the appointment weeks in advance. I received a confirmation from them. Less then 24 hours before the appointment I received a call saying "they no longer offer this service"... I wouldn't recommend this Sephora to anyone.

If I could give 0 star rating I would. This place is overly expensive for no reason. I ordered a Laniege lipstick as a holiday gift for a friend online and asked for a holiday card along with holiday gift and they are so cheap that they send it all online through email instead of a real holiday card. They don’t even wrap or put the gift in a bow, just sent it regularly in a ugly brown USPS box oh and not to mention the delivery date changed three times so it came after the holiday. Very disappointed. Whenever I buy from a high end store, I receive it in a wrap, bow on top, and a pretty box not a ugly box in a sloppy way. This will be my last time buying from here. I am a loyal customer and a beauty insider ROUGE and this service is unacceptable.

I went to the online pickup counter by the register and was completely ignored despite there being two people chatting behind the cashiers. At that point just get rid of the pickup counter. I found someone to grab my order and they were pleasant, but if it’s not one thing it’s another at Sephora. I’m always ignored and if I’m not, then someone comes to offer me a basket despite my hands being empty. I know that means I look suspicious of stealing, I’m not new here. I can’t help but to feel it’s a race thing and it’s not just this location.

Had a wonderful time at Sephora Old Orchard today. I was having the worst day and it quickly became my best day due to lovely girl named Mariana. Extremely helpful, friendly, and charming. She made my day by providing the VIP guest experience❤️

I had such a wonderful experience at this location. Despite it being very busy in the store, I had not one, but two kind employees work together to recommend products and shade match me. The employees were all very kind and attentive! Thank you.

Although I generally have a good experience when I'm shopping at this store. Today I felt particularly annoyed and irritated, because while I was testing out Sephora's concealer brand at one of their makeup stands. A saleswoman who was assisting another customer not only invaded my personal space once, but she did it twice and the second time she didn't excuse herself. And not only that but they both stood RIGHT NEXT to me while she was giving her a sales pitch. Now, I wouldn't have minded if this were to have happened in a very busy and crowded store. Because in that kind of circumstance it would been more than understandable. But this was early afternoon where the store was virtually empty and there MANY makeup stations that were available for them to use. The saleswoman didn't have to stand RIGHT NEXT to me and give me an earful of her sales pitch. Because it made me feel make like they were right on top of me, so much so, that when I turned to leave I almost tripped over the customer's dog. (Personally, I don't understand why non-service dogs are allowed in-stores but I digress). They could have easily moved to another station with more room to move about. But I left without making another purchase because I felt like my presence and personal space was not only not valued but it wasn't respected. (I was there picking up an online order). So, please take note salespeople, respect the personal space of your customers whenever possible. Because although I do understand people get excited and they want to move about and do things at a fast pace, that's not always necessary. It's better to do things at a slower pace, where you can still be mindful and aware of other people around you.

This is to share an experience on Saturday, November 9th at old orchard Sephora.
I have always read negative reviews about this sephora but today I got to experience it too unfortunately. I understand it’s the Sephora fall event going on and it’s a weekend so I’m sure the Sephora ladies are hard at work, but still needs a change in attitude.
I was picking up a dior face glow palette in the shade universal. I needed two of them. I only saw one left on the shelf. This is when I asked the Sephora employee for help, her name is Melissa. She was bothered that i even asked her because her attitude was annoyed instantly. She started with saying “if it’s not there on the shelf we probably don’t have it.” Ok so negative answer to begin with. Then she proceeded to open the bottom drawer and started looking and got irritated at me for not telling her the product color I was looking for lol she didn’t bother asking me.
Then she kept looking for the color I wanted. I bent down to also peek at the names because the font was like micro. She didn’t want me to peak at it! She rudely said I’ll do the checking for you, don’t look. I’m like damn ok lolol idk why you have such a nasty mood dear.
She did the “looking” for me and handed me an eye shadow palette instead of a face palette and said here. I responded that this isn’t the one. So then she finally found the right one and handed it to me like she’s doing me huge favor for doing her job.
When I was asked at the register if someone helped me I told her Melissa “helped” me but was very rude. The cashier said nothing about that and proceeded to do the checking out process. So no one clearly cares.
Avoid this Sephora and order online only bc you won’t have to deal with them.

I love the old Orchard Sephora usually I have the best experience but it was unable for me to shop at today because of the sales ladies constantly running up to me asking if I need help it got very annoying after the seventh or eighth and they really need to learn when to stop

I can not find enough kind words to describe the customer service from Sofia and I believe the managers names was Traci! Sofia was an ABSOLUTE GEM. I was having a day and Sofias kindness and smile made me completely forget about it. Kindness is such an easy thing to give which most people lack with it. I was definitely not going to return to this store, but thank Sofia I will definitely be back due to her respectful manners and kindness! Thank You so much!!
