I bought a pair of sneakers here 2 weeks ago, wore them twice, and the sole started coming off. I brought them back for a refund and was only given a 50% refund because I had purchased the shoes as part of the buy one get one half off sale, even though this was the pair I paid full price for. The manager explained that the “system won’t let her change it” and that’s the policy is to keep people from essentially taking advantage of the sale. I found this a little insulting as we were clearly bringing in a defective pair of shoes and not taking advantage of their policies. I also have a hard time believing that a store manager cannot override the system to provide good customer service. Charging over $80 full price for a pair of shoes that falls apart after two weeks is absurd and I will not be purchasing from Skechers again, especially knowing that the customer service policies are so abysmal.

This morning I stopped in and Awabb was so helpful during my visit to the Skechers Outlet in Skokie! He was super patient and really knew his stuff, helping me find the right pair without any stress. His friendly attitude made the whole shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Thanks to Awabb, I left with exactly what I needed and a great impression of the store.

I had such a great experience at the Skechers Outlet in Skokie! Victor and Awabb went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. They were both so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the different styles and fits, which made the whole process super easy. It’s rare to come across staff who genuinely care about making sure you leave happy, but they absolutely did. I walked out with the perfect pair of shoes and a big smile on my face—thank you, Victor and Awabb, for the amazing service! I’ll definitely be coming back to shop here again.

OmG the kids working there are so rude. It’s obvious they don’t like their jobs, or helping customers. All three huddled near the register, and annoyed when asked to retrieve a box. Anyway, I like the variety of shoes they carry, so I will continue to shop there….but next time I will be rude back.

Jaber is incredible. He deserves Employee of the Year. He was working all alone. Helping everyone, including me, find exactly what they needed. He was incredibly kind and patient. I found it amazing. He showed no signs of stress or losing his cool when obviously management left him alone. Truly remarkable. This location has a smaller selection than some of the other stores but still decent. Sale shoes for men's larger sizes 12&13 very limited. Jaber gets 5 stars. Management gets 1 star!
