I always have the best experience walking into this US Bank. Tellers are always so kind and friendly, especially Alina and Lorena they are so nice and always considerate and take care of my needs. I will go out of my way to visit this branch.

There were only two RUDE women working at the 4450 Golf Rd in Skokie US bank, totally ignoring my question if there is another banker to help after me waiting for 20 minutes in the lobby. Like I wasn't even there. Very rude and unprofessional! Certainly not going there again! Shame for US bank to have such awful employees.

A joke. The Branch Manager Richard "forgot" to give me cash back of $50.00, today. I guess two transactions were too taxing for his "brain" If I would have driven away, he would have been $50.00 richer. and I would have had no recourse. Know when to hold "em". I will start off by saying this bank has the worse customer service I will be contacting Corp and making sure that the manager treats people with respect and he might need to go thru training again

Reading a negative review from 3yrs ago about the customer service and management is a JOKE the branch manager has no skills in customer service very rude and uneducated . Just a little quick insight you make a deposit of the same payroll checks week after week and you come to this location the branch manager loves to place 10 day hold without a notice and last time I complained he tells me I release your funds as a courtesy wait what! I didn't have the time to argue with a kid this place has no customer service needs retraining just sad and will continue to make sure this won't happen again I will get Corp involved that's a promise

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service at both the 800 number and this location. I opened a new account (3/1) and was told the funds would be placed on hold for 5-7 days. When asked why, I was told my other bank (from which the monies were being drawn) was notorious for not confirming funds. Since I believed this to be so - which is why I was leaving my original bank - I agreed to this timeframe. Lo and behold my original bank debted my account immediately and so on 3/7 I called USBANK (the 800 number) and the representative confirmed that my original bank released the funds. When asked why, then, my funds were not available to me, I was told that it was still "being processed". When I asked "what" was being processed - since she just told me the funds were released - she said "your account". What??!!! My account?!! When I pressed her on the subject she said, under her breath, "oh my god". "Oh my god?! Oh my god, what?" I asked. Shocked, she replied, I never said "oh my god?!" I told her that she did and that USBANK was recording the conversation and all she needed to do was listen back to it!! I asked to speak with her manager so she put me on hold. When she returned to the line she told me her manager was busy but she would be happy to take my information and concerns to her manager when he became available. (TeeHeeHee) Oooooookay! I thanked her and told her that she "helped me" enough. I then called the local branch where I opened the account. I explained everything to the woman that originally helped me and she quickly turned me over to the assistant manager. USELESS!!! The assistant manager proceeded to tell me that I was notified beforehand (which I was) and that I "agreed" to the hold. When I tried to explain that I was led to believe the hold was because of "the other bank's doing" and that they have actually released the funds - and CONFIRMED by a representative at HER bank - she wanted to hear nothing of it. She told me "it's company policy and it's just not us. I've worked at 3 other banks and they all do the same thing". (WOW! WOW! WOW!) I told her that if she didn't release my funds (I know, I know she doesn't have the authority to do it but I was pretty annoyed by now) that when they DID become available that I was going to take it all out and close my account. And, if asked, tell whomever that the reason I was closing the account so soon after opening it was because of the poor customer service - including from her!!! Her reply??!! "Oh, I won't get in trouble for that. They'll actually probably commend me for following company policy" I said "yes they will and they may even give you a medal!!" BRAVO!, USBANK, BRAVO! You've trained your robots...er, employees well!! But I think I want to do business with a bank that understands what customer service is and one that treats their clients as people, not numbers!! (Oh, and if you're wondering, I just checked my paperwork. USBANK will have my funds "available" to me on 3/10. Aren't they just soooooo nice?!)
