Mark and the Mechanics at the shop really help me and my family a lot with my 4Runner. I was Recommend to them and they did a really good job, came in for a Transmission Filter change and new Transmission line. They changed all the line for me and did a really good job doing so. My transmission Hose Ripped on me three times and they help change all of them until we found a good replacement at no extra cost me and my family appreciate you guys!

If you have problems with your transmission take your car to this place. We were from out of town and they took the time to look at our car and drop the pan to look at the transmission even though they were super busy. The owner Mark is a super nice guy and his mechanic Wintris is one of the best. Save yourself the headache with other shops and see these guys first.

Rear end went out on my Jeep on New Years Day. I have not needed a mechanic in this area, before, so trying to find a new shop, for major service was a concern. I'm so glad I found Value Transmission. Mark and the guys took great care of me, treated me fairly and communicated well throughout the process. Honest work, reasonable prices, clean shop. Awesome work great service. Honest and transparent communication. Affordable compared to many shops in this area highly recommended.My car was misdiagnosed several times with crazy quotes beyond the value of the vehicle. Took it to Mark At Value transmission. Was able to diagnose the issue within a few hours and get the car back on the road within a few days without breaking a hole in my pocket. Very thankful that I found an honest independent mechanic in a long time.

I can't say enough about Value Transmission. Was traveling from Wash. DC, in my 2012 Chevy Express to Wisconsin. In Joliet, the trans shifter bushing cracked, causing the shift lever to move but not shift. So each time I shifted, I would have to get under the vehicle to reconnect the cable. Not a safe way to travel. My buddy who lives in Skokie recommended Value as he had a Ford Escape transmission fixed by them a couple years ago and raved about their service and and has not a problem since. The guys at Vaule took me in quickly and had me on my wasy in under 15 min. THEY SAVED MY TRIP. Friendly, know their stuff and did it all for no charge. I was over a barrel and they could have chaged me hundreds. Now that's GREAT service. Thanks Value!!!5 STARS!!!

I don’t typically write reviews, but felt compelled to after I received incredible service at Value Transmission.I brought my car in for diagnostics, on a recommendation from a friend. I met with the owner, Mark, who walked me step-by-step through my concerns, and detailed his proposed care plan. I was struck by his patience, transparency, and kind demeanor. Not having extensive car-knowledge myself, I asked a slew of questions, which he answered with extreme patience and grace. I felt comfortable and confident in his team’s ability to fix my car.Most important to me, I felt like I was being treated fairly, and knew exactly what to expect from his service team- I even opted for a few additional services. The quote was fair, and the work was exceptional.I would absolutely recommend Value Transmission to anyone in need of Transmission work. Thank you, Mark & team!

I called this guy Mark for a price to rebuilt my transmission, initial ly the price was 3,700$ then 3,800$ the final price was 4,200$. His mechanic did not install the radiator back properly and the whole assembly was moving and making noise, i went back 2 times, they did not want to fix it, did not recognize is their mistake, i finally fix it myself and find about 10 screws and bolts missing. Beside that on the 2nd visit for fixing the radiator, Mark ask me, what do you expect from a 145,000 mile car? like this was normal.Service: Transmission

Mark and Value Transmission took care of business. Martin Nissan let me down and he saved my vehicle paid 1k less than the robbers over at Martin Nissan and a new trans. We had a small hiccup, but he came through in the end. Thanks Mark for all your help.
