giving this place 1 star is like a kicking a dead horse, but it's really that bad. these people have forced me to come over no fewer than four (!) times to pick up some glucose monitor control solution. they keep assuring me that it's coming in the next shipment, but it never does, and every time I go there there's a different pharmacist (what are there like 30 pharmacists working here, each for 3 hours a day?) and you keep hearing different stories. finally they just told me to order it online, yeah right what a joke.

I called the pharmacy on 6/28 at 4:30 pm and the phone rang and rang and they didn’t answer.
It’s now 5:00 pm, I know they are not on break yet they can’t pickup the phone.
That’s how much they care about their customers.

Love the fact that they stay open until 12 am. I was able to get my asthma medicine but need to pay more attention to the customers

This is the Walgreens that I use now that I'm living in Skokie. I get all my pricriptions, my children's pricriptions and anything else that we need health/wellness wise from this store. I've used Walgreens for many years, across 3 states that I've lived in and this store is by far the best. The pharmacy staff is amazing and always helpful. The store employees are friendly, the store is always clean and stocked.

I wish we could leave negative stars. Most sales staff are rude if not interested. Hiding instead of being at the register. Pharmacy staff can be nice but they are deeply deeply overwhelmed and understaffed. Insane how many medications they just don't have and you never know if you can get your meds. Nobody answers the phone.

Consistent errors with insurance. They take days to fill prescriptions that other locations fill in hours. Occasionally they just don't fill them.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Been waiting about 1.5 hours to get my one prescription. This has to be the worst Walgreens I've ever been to. Avoid this place!

Avoid the pharmacy at all costs. We've used them for decades but our whole family has moved our business to CVS this year. The pharmacy NEVER answers the phone. Ever. Prescriptions are never ready in a timely manner or when promised. I have seen.elderly people standing in line, in tears, begging for late heart meds. We have had doctors call in meds as we sat in office at 9.am and they still aren't filled at 5 pm or 2 days later. If they're out of it, they don't tell you - the online or phone form will tell you it's "still being processed" for days, and days and days. God forbid they let you know or call one of the other 9 Walgreens in the area to see who can fill it. Zero service, zero commu inaction, people queued up 14 deep waiting to be waited on while every 1 person is a 20 mi ute problem...and 1 person waiting on all. This pharmacy is dangerous.

Don’t go to this Walgreens. I used to work for Walgreens as a technician (before opting NOT to become a pharmacist) several years back, so I have definitely developed empathy for some people who work behind the lines. I’ve even worked for 24hr locations, but never have I felt so embarrassed for a pharmacy! This particular pharmacy is careless and disrespectful. They’re constantly trying to gaslight the customers or prescribers.I once had a prescription called in for my son and they filled it under my husband’s name. When I mentioned it, the cashier tried to play it off as if the clinic called the prescription in for my husband. The problem is, my husband had never been to that clinic so there would be no way they had access to his information. Even the pharmacist, who overheard the conversation, looked at the cashier with embarrassment.Go to the location on Old Orchard and Crawford.
