I swear all those 1-star reviews must be for Crawford and Dempster location. Crawford and Dempster is the worst.
I heard from a friend that this one went above and beyond for her, so I switched from Dempster.
I've always been treated fairly, especially at the pharmacy counter. Whenever I am there I never see employees slacking off. The pharmacy staff is stellar, and always pokes a head up and says "be right with you". There are some new faces, and there may have been turnover, as I haven't seen some regulars in months, but even the new people are fine. I've had the pharmacy manager call me about my prescription when there was a shortage at the end of the year 2 years back, and she made sure that I was sorted. The level of customer service like that had me teary eyed, especially after coming from what could only be best described as a wartime field dentistry that Crawford and Dempster is, where it felt like I was having teeth pulled just to get meds, and most of the time it was a 2-3 separate visit for the same meds that the app said were ready.
Old Orchard Rd and Crawford is the best in the area. If you're in the right place and slamming my good Walgreens, I think you may have to have a long look at yourself in the mirror and think about why it was bad for you. It could be you and not them.

Some 15 year old employee refused to probide service. He was unwilling to even hear thay i have been comong to this walgreens for months loading my account. I will be calling and coming in tommorow. I dont know if it was a race thing. But tristian you are not allowed to decline service to any customer with no reason. Who tf do uou think you are i will br reporting to ethics.

The slowest pharmacy every and to make it worse, the most rude and unprofessional pharmacy manager named Emily ever. She is very unknowlegable and doesn’t help the patients. I made a complaint to the store manager and corporate but still waiting on a response.

I came to Walgreens after having oral surgery. The pharmacy told me they just got my prescriptions and would have to wait an hour and a half. I was in pain so I told her I was not leaving and coming back and will wait. I was then told they will try and expedite my prescriptions but they go on a meal break soon! How healthcare has changed where a meal break comes before care and a patient’s discomfort. I have been a pharmacy tech for 15 years and I have never told a patient that! Horrible customer service and no empathy for the patients that are relying on their help. I didn’t mind waiting but the attitude and excuses need major work! I was willing to fill my own scripts while they went to lunch.

Terrible service from the pharmacy here- told to come back an hour later for a Rx, got back over an hour later, told it’ll be another 20 minutes

I came in and had trouble finding & deciding on which products to buy. If I recall correctly Emily ? Helped me find & choose my items!! She was so sweet! One of the nicest Walgreens employees I’ve met by far :)

Horrible Customer Service! Went to drop off a package for a FedEx pickup. One employee was trying to pretend she didn't work there so she didn't have to help. The other employee who was at the front register, didn't even offered to help or get someone. The guy that was a the photo counter, was working on something, turned and saw I was waiting and turned back around. Didn't offered to get the first employee to help or anyone. Walked out and went to the Dempster location and was helped within 5 minutes. Skokie Blvd location sucks! Find another location to go to.

My son purchased a STEAM card for $20 from Walgreens on Jan 10th 2024. The code for redemption was half on the sticker and half on the card and cannot be read properly. Walgreens has a no return no help you policy with these cards. Since January 10thi have been trying to get help and all I have is a case number and apologetic people but no one will help get this resolved. I want the money back. You sell a bad product.
